About
Tasty Point in East London is a great spot for an affordable, quick bite. The menu has a variety of options including vegetarian meals and Pakistani/Indian dishes. The "Prawn" curry comes with seven small shrimps and the butter chicken looks like it comes from a packet with around six small pieces of chicken. The Chicken Karahi could be improved, but the food overall is satisfying. The prices are reasonable and the staff is helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant could use some work, as there is not enough parking spots and the hygiene standards could be improved. The food is delicious and lives up to its name, and it's great to have a place to get out-of-town flavored foodies. Overall, Tasty Point is a great spot for a tasty, budget friendly meal.

Ordered on Uber Eats and let me tell you, I do not recommend their butter chicken! It's all soupy and absolutey no taste. Their roti's were burnt as well. The packaging? Oh my word. I give this restaurant 0/10. Please take us seriously!! Food: 1 Service: 1

Nice spot for vegetarian meals. It's conviniently located on the main road (Oxford) in EL. However, the place seem to be tailored for a certain group in the population, the Asians, especially those of Indian decent. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person R 50–100 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
"Prawn" curry consisted of 7 tiny shrimps and the rest was sauce! Butter chicken tastes and looks like something out of a packet, with around 6 small bits of chicken and again, the rest was sauce. Waste of time and money. This is the Oxford Street branch. Seems like the Nahoon branch serves decent portions. Don't say "prawn" when its shrimp!

The best Indian/Pakistani food in East London. Prices are reasonable. Service is great. Quality meal that's right in the heart of the CBD. Best by far. Big thumbs up. !
