If you love plants and coffee, like I do, this is the place for you! My husband and I got a couple of pastries, a flat white and a caramel macchiato. Everything was delicious! We stopped at this place during a road trip, and it was quite interesting. The inside of the store is very eerie and is filled with various objects. It really reminded me of a place where there are regular cult meeting. Baked products we bought, though, were tasty and it was a great experience. Apple pies are especially delicious.

Hands down my new favorite bakery! The atmosphere is so earthy and chill with plants and fun decorations everywhere. Kate is incredibly nice and I loved coming in just for the conversation! But, let's be real, the star of this place is the baked goods and man, are they good! I'll take a croissant over a donut any day, so this place was heaven for me. This place has so many different sweet and savory croissants that it makes for a tough decision! I got the highly reviewed cinnamon roll and I knew there was a reason only one was left after 40 minutes of this place being open. And let me tell you, go early and get one because you'll never want another cinnamon roll! Definitely worth stopping at if you're traveling through and worth visiting twice if you're staying in town for a bit! Eclectic best describes Tasty Kate’s. We stopped by on our way out of town. The dirty chai and cheese danish were good. The breakfast burrito was underwhelming.

Delicious carrot cake Kate made for out daughter's Birthday. Because of limited hours, Kate was kind enough to meet me at a prearranged time so that we could enjoy this special cake. Thank you Kate!

One of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. The chocolate crumb cake and croissant were excellent, too. Kate is so friendly and patient, even when you're on her porch before she has gotten the store open. A great stop while making your way through Port Orford. We stayed in her AirBnB next door (incredible) and in the morning we walked in and she was welcoming, kind, and had a great selection of pastries, cheese, meats, crackers, and the coffee was really good! Everything in the shop was mesmerizing- I could have looked around for hours. Make sure to say hi to the turtle!

Excellent coffee! reply - I got hooked on Capaccinos while traveling and got a cheap espresso/steamer to see if it was an option for me. Oh my - it so is. Thank you for the coffee suggestion - I'm buying a half lb of the Mocho' blend today!
