The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, creating a warm and inviting environment. They have plenty of vegetarian options which is the most important thing for me. The scenic view of the lake added to the overall charm. What stood out the most was the cleanliness of the place. Highly recommended spot for those seeking a pleasant dining atmosphere with friendly service and a beautiful lakeside view. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Taste of Ceylon is a heartwarming escape that blends the flavors of Sri Lanka and Laos. From the first bite, it felt like a taste of home which I couldn’t experience for 2 months of my travels. I felt so happy that the restaurant delivered. The view of the lake and the quiet and serene background made every moment special. If you crave a personal and delightful dining experience, this hidden gem is a must-try. Special thanks to owners who brought Sri Lanka to Laos together with their best smiles. He even gave us some quick introductions to Luang Prabang and how Laos got Theravada Buddhism from Sri Lanka 300 years ago. Thank you so much guys! Highly recommend! Definitely will visit again during our stay in Luang Prabang 🤩 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Rice and Curry Vegeterian

Pretty good food! Wished that the special comes with 1 rice+ 1 naan instead of 2 naans though. Enjoyed the snack pack very much, perfect for 2 people. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a Ceylon / SriLankan restaurant which offers Srilankan, Lao and western menus, Josh the Owner, personally attend for us and offered table upstairs which has superb over look on the river. Restaurant has all fresh fruit juice and all other drinks including wines and international beverages. Ordered Beef Kotthu which is unique SriLankan meal and it was a blast not only form me but also my Lao friends. beef was melting in the mouth and my Lao friends were so existed about the meal. Fried cashew was perfect which does not have that after bitter taste usually comes with Asian cashew. Josh made special Pork devilled on our request which is another unique SriLankan dish and it was tendering and melting in the mouth. It was not on the menu and you should add this dish to your menu. Fish fried was very tender. All the food was delivered less than 15 mins and Owner was kind enough to to check time to time on us. I highly recommend Taste of Ceylon for anyone who visit Luong Praban and it’s a must visit place. We ordered veg biryani with tofo and eggs. And snacks. The owner suggests a vegan option. The biryani was tasty but a bit oily. The snacks wereonly 4 pieces. Not spicy as expected, suit to people who don't use to Indian food. The price are extremely high for the snacks and a small bottle of water. Meal type Lunch Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Met the owner of this restaurant in a bar the night before and decided to give it a go, and I'm very glad I did. A beautiful spot overlooking the Mekong River in the heart of Luangphrabang. The menu had a wide variety of authentic Sri Lankan dishes. I opted for the chicken Kottu Roti which was bursting with flavour - highly recommend! Also the service was very friendly and efficient. Will definitely be coming back. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I am going to take time writing my feedback for this authentic peace of Sri Lanka in Laos. I here since 6 days and is my first memorable meal in town. I have search for Vegan restaurants on the Happy Cos app, Aldo on Google and TAdvisor, I had changed every restaurant on every meal. I met the father Mr Deelip and the son, both very kind and explain the menu to me. I decided to try the Dosa Masala and variety of vegan salads, wow ! Vegan healthy party to my senses. They got for meat, fish lover of course but I talk about my experience. I will go again to try more dishes, as I see is freshly done and not oily and so tasty. This is some of the best Indian/Sri Lankan food I’ve eaten outside of India. Such amazing depth to the flavour in ever dish we had. Roti was a little oily which is a minor complaint. Service was perfect, not in your face but friendly. Enjoy Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
