Under new management! We spoke with the owner while we were here and she mentioned that she took over the place a month ago. The food has changed and it is truly amazing! I got the gumbo and my friend ordered the shrimp po’boy. Both were so delicious! We ate everything on our plates. We stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. First, let me say, the service here is second to none. They weren't busy, but we were seated and had our beverages on the table in less than 2 minutes from the friendliest server you could ask for. Everyone was super nice. We both opted for shrimp and catfish plates. The fish was about as good as I've had anywhere. The shrimp were good, too. The condiments and sides were delicious, as was the complimentary "bean" bar. The meal was not inexpensive, but we both said we will come back here next time we visit Jefferson. This place gets two thumbs up from me! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
