Old school vibe, dark, red leather booths. Great food, frequent live band and dancing. Prices feel a bit high, though we've never had a bad meal, and whenever in Redlands this is where we end up. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My family and I have been going to the Tartan for years. I am surprised I have not reviewed it before. A group of six of us went to dinner last night. The reservation systems worked well and our table was ready for us. The place was packed. Service was great, food was great, Flat Iron steak was fantastic. The place was a little loud but that is just a function of having a popular restaurant. Lunch is a little calmer and better for conversations. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Been coming here on and off for the last 15 years. It seems to me that the quality, price, and service has stayed roughly the same. (Prices seem to have increased the same as other restaurants.) The food is decent, you get what you pay for, quantity and quality are as expected. I wish there was more variety on the menu. Service is good, got my food promptly. Family restaurant service. Location is nice, could use an update but it is fine. So, this is not a first date joint, this is a romantic date night joint. Come here with friends/family and should be just fine. Plan on returning when I am in the area again. Entrance, parking, seating, and restroom are all accessible. Parking shouldn't be an issue, but if an event is going on nearby parking may be an issue. Had our rehearsal dinner there recently and Taylor is awesome!! The entire staff is warm and friendly and fast!! 50 people ate wonderful food at a great pace.....not rushed, didn't wait and it was just outstanding. Such a wonderful place! Food was good. Service was amazing. We sprung a last minute 20 person group on them, and they accommodated with smiles and kindness. The waitress was clearly skilled, and it made our gathering so much better. Thank you Tartan of Redlands! I went on band night. Can't remember the exact date. But I know it's once a month that's specific bands are in a rotation. I enjoyed myself. Drink surprise food is great. Nice a pricey, good atmosphere with different demographics. Overall better than average experience.
