I have never had a bad experience here. Both bartenders have been bartending since the 1980s, and make great drinks that never lack flavor or alcohol. Also, the pricing is right for the area. We have been to other bars in the area off of Los Angeles Ave and they were overpriced and drinks were water-downed trash. Jalisco is a chill local spot and people are personable there. My wife and I are from Montana. We have been here many times with our daughter and her family over the last few years, (and have spent a substantial amount of money and always tipped a minimum of 20%). We decided to stop by and have a drink before we went shopping at the store. One drink turned in to a couple more and everything was good, the only server at the time was a gentleman waiting on all the customers to include the bar and the restaurant and maintaining everything pretty well. The issue, as the restaurant got busier and support for him happened, his attitude changed a little bit and he became a bit more unappreciative and disrespectful of our presence. After paying our first bill, ( 20% tip), we decided to share 1 more small margarita. When I payed him in cash, which again included a 20% tip, he picked the check up and replied, Feliz Navi dad. I personally took this as an insult and after confronting him and asking why he would say that, knowing what it actually meant, he back tracked and tried to make an explanation that made no sense. I know this might not seem like a big deal to most, but to me and my wife it was an insult and in my opinion he was just making fun of us because we were white and thought we did not understand what he was saying. I will never spend another dollar at this place and I have always been generous to the servers here over the years. By the way in the last 5 days we have spent over $260.00 dollars at this restaurant. Racism happens and it’s not always the white people who disrespect. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
Food is fine, but there’s not much care or effort put into it. Biggest problem is the customer service, the employees don’t know how to be respectful and are openly rude to your face. My recommendation is to pick a different restaurant because this one has a low rating for a reason. The atmosphere is terrible, and there’s not one sense of welcome. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Been going here for a few years. But after tonight. Not anymore. 9.99 for a kids meal that consists of 4 chicken dinos and a handful of fries is ridiculous. Which the menu did not state (chicken tenders and fries). I, rightfully so, wanted to return it, was asked if I ordered it before, no. After saying this is a very high price for 4 chicken dino's (bag of 40 from target is 9.49), was told its because of inflation. Eventually they did take the chicken dinos back and replaced it with a quesadilla, which was still over priced for what it was. Going to have to go spend my hard earned money that doesn't go as far (inflation) some where else, that doesn't attempt to rip off families. Just to be clear, if the menu stated 4 chicken dinos, this would not have been an issue. But trying to push overpriced garbage onto families like this is really low, and then arguing about it? Really? Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
