Will never return! Burritos where big; however, little to no sausage and cheese. Got 3 and the cost was almost $20.00. Cut it in half and it looked like a scrambled egg burrito. Hot sauce was watered down to no taste. Food: 1 Service: 3

We were so excited to be able to get tacos from here this morning. However, finding out the prices have gone up, we were given the wrong change, then argued with when we pointed it out, and the tacos were not like they used to be, we won’t be back. In regards to the wrong change, my husband pulled the cash from the atm right before we went so he gave them 2- $20 bills. The girl taking the orders immediately said no I’m right I put $25 instead of $40 when we asked her about the rest of the change. She then proceeded to roll her eyes, slam the window so hard it popped back open. We were then ignored for over 5 minutes. They refused to check the register and gave themselves an almost $15 tip. If we hadn’t had an appointment to get it in Waco we would have waited around until they got it figured out. As we ate the $40 tacos on the way, the quality was not great and only half of the tacos were eaten. It is seriously not about the money, but the principle of the situation. Be better! This place has some really good, home made, Mexican food. There is no indoor seating but they do have covered seating that wraps around the restaurant. The birria tacos and the breakfast tacos are the best. Ask for the hot sauce, pretty darn good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Maravilloso! Roadside Venue, that could be missed, but all the variety of food dishes offered could make you wish you didn't. This goes Beyond authentic!! Nopales tacos, grilled with onions and little tomato was my go to! Next was another must...Quesabirrias tacos with small cup of dipping broth, however the freshly made Tomatillos, Serranos chili salsa is an was the very best in a squeeze bottle that has so much flavor, muy cremoso y sabroso caliente. Recognize it's not around the corner, fortunately it was around the corner where I was visiting!! Sun,Mon and Tues....7am-2pm or so Wed,Thru,Fri, Sat....7am-8pm or so As of 05/16/22 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30

I've had tacos all around texas, this is not your traditional Tex mex, the flavors here taste just like they came out of Baja. I can't recommend this place enough. The hot sauce is delicious as well.

Great food and very clean. Love the Carne Asada Tacos! I highly recommend! I will be back for sure. Added review...Made it a couple of time since my initial review and added more photos. The breakfast burrito called “The Trashcan” is for sure an awesome think to get for breakfast! Great with their guacamole. Also got some to go items for lunch Chili Relleno and Lingua tacos. All is spectacular and with great service! Defiantly stop in when passing through Kempner.
