Very friendly, reliable and helpful host and family. Tree house is absolutely a unique life experience despite the tough conditions, eg. no electricity or charging for any devices except for USB port mobile. U can see the red volcanic smoke from Mt Yasur. There’s a flushing toilet but you shower with a tube of cold water and a portable solar light - ok for me in Feb. Although the village is quite poor and undeveloped, village people are generally friendly, the kids would voluntarily take u for a bush walk and show u the river where locals bath. Cheap and great value. Highly recommended for those who is adventurous and keen to experience a different lifestyle.
Absolute must do! The most beautiful place, most beautiful culture, most beautiful hosting family and village. Staying here tops the list of my life experiences so far. Absolute highlight of my weeks spent in Vanuatu. Leaving was genuinely hard to do and will be back ASAP
