We chose Takiang because of its high Google rating and we were not mistaken. Even if it is in a small and dark street, it is like a hidden gem. Very pleasant ambience, tasty food and a very kind owner who was eager to take a picture with us :) The Mango sticky rise dessert was very good.

Very peaceful place for a relaxing birthday lunch. We had the specials (crab and duck) and a banana flower salad, all of which were delicious. The decor was fantastic and service was exemplary 🙂 Highly recommend.

We were the first and only customers when we arrived for dinner at 630. Any doubts were erased when the food arrived. We loved the paneang curry and banana fritters. Great service as well.

It was so amazing we went back twice! An authentic Thai foodie experience! The food was outstanding. The seafood is fresh and the taste is amazing. It’s a 5 minute walk from Bang Niang Market. We had the Tom yum soup, sweet and sour fried fish, fried duck curry and banana in coconut. The owner is a beautiful person and his staff are friendly and welcoming. A definite must try!

Fantastic food, tasted lovely, great flavours, seems authentic (with my knowledge of thai cuisine)
Ordered:
-Spicy pineapple salad (ordered medium spice, had good amount of chili)
-Massaman curry with chicken
-Stir fryed chicken with ginger
-Crispy fried pork, which I am guessing could be a specialty of the restaurant, fantastically crispy with sesame seeds and black pepper.
Restaurant is in an ally a bit of the main road of Khao Lak, but close to the main tourist restaurant hotspot.
Make an effort to find it (easy enough) it is worth it over some of the other tourist traps in the area in my opinion.
Would come again if we were not leaving tomorrow.

Wow what a beautiful restaurants! A must go if you want a true thai food experience, sensational flavours and a beautiful ambience. Its not on the main strip and could easily be missed but only a 2 mins walk from bang niang market, opposite twins a little sign will point you down a road keep going and you will get there. The food was truly out of this world, we had to go more then once which is unlike us as we like to experience different things. Soft crab is a must try, seafood hot plate, duck in pepper, all delicious. I'm still dreaming about the pad thai, best I've had in my life. The staff are lovely and the owner is so sweet and welcoming. Such a fantastic experience, thank you.
