Had dinner at Takenaka and ordered the Takenaka Best 11pcs and the nigiri was very delicious! The maki rolls were very bland, not fun at all. Got two pcs with only rice filled with rice and some egg? Very boring. Ate with four other people, we all thought the same, there's better sushi in Halmstad for cheaper! Another thing was that you'd expect to get some seagrass and even edamame on your plate for that price range? But no, only "wasabi" and ginger. The maki rolls were also very big, with a thick layer of rice around ... The hostess was friendly at arrival but the rest of the service was not super, could have served us chopsticks and bowl for soy sauce like every other place has prepared on the table when you sit down to eat. We had to ask for it and the restaurant was not even busy. The place is very cosy with a small outside area on the courtyard! And nice that they serve the Japanese beer Asahi, which I love! I would recommend to come at lunch time because the pricing may be better? Or to only order the nigiri! The second pic is also the takenaka best but 14psc. Resturant didnt look much, but great service and food! Fast to table and food was delicious! I ate bento box and curry bowl. Very nice tempura, also sushi was fresh and above average. More seats and toilet upstairs. The general cleanliness of the place and tables could have been better.

I ordered the chefs selection 14 pcs sushi and it was delicious! When I searched restaurants in Halmstad the high rating caught my eye. I love sushi and had to test it out. Rice was perfect, the fish of high quality and the compositions superb. I sat in the small, but cozy, outside area. The staff was friendly and helpful.

One of the tastiest ramens in Sweden! Fast and excellent service. Would recommend to friends and Ramen Wednesdays is a must!
