A hidden gem in our area was recommended to us. A small restaurant serving Japanese fare and spirits. Menus in Japanese and English. I had a chicken dish over rice that was generous in portion and superior in flavor. Our dining companions had an assortment of sushi selections served on 2 huge platters. Again, the sushi portions were large and flavorful. Service was pleasant, professional, and prompt. We will be back. I'd recommend Take Sushi to anyone wanting a quiet, Japanese meal in a cozy location with friends. I and my husband had sushi here for the first time. I must say this place did not disappoint me. They started with complimentary Miso soup and We ordered few rolls but volcano roll was my favorite which had tittle spicy kick in it. Staff was very welcoming and provided really good service. Only thing I felt was this place is little pricy compared to other sushi places in town, though I am saying its little pricy their portion size is bigger than the other places I have been to. We got take-out. Wait was only 25 minutes, and they were exactly on time. Service to pick up the food was very kind. The food is delicious! The rolls are generous portions, and the chicken katsu was phenomenal. This is our new Japanese spot! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is my favorite place ever in Rochester. Everyone I recommend this restaurant to falls in love. The food is consistently delicious and the restaurant is always very clean and very cozy. The wait staff has always been very kind and attentive. I have not been dining in due to covid, but I highly appreciate the staff still masking to protect themselves and their patrons. Always fresh! They have a wide selection of seafood here. I am convinced that this is the most delicious place on earth. Sashimi wise— I think you get less value. But other than that, this is the best place around. Been consistently eating here for the past 2 years and it’s still my favorite! I get take out and the workers have NEVER gotten it wrong! best sushi in town. my boyfriend and i have made this our go-to date spot because of how awesome it is. it’s super cute inside and the prices are great! only downside is they used to give you free soup and salad, but now they don’t. please bring it back!! it was one of our favorite things. btw: the spicy salmon roll is to die for!! I regret to inform you that my recent experience at a listed sushi place was immensely disappointing, as the quality of food and service has drastically declined. Despite my late ordering time, I firmly believe that sushi should be served fresh and meticulously prepared, which was unfortunately not the case here. The cucumbers in my sushi were roughly cut with large, unappetizing pieces of skin left on, and the avocado was overripe to the point of being mushy and slimy. This alarming lack of attention to the freshness and quality of ingredients has raised serious concerns regarding the overall standards of this establishment, making me hesitant to trust the freshness of the fish and other components of the sushi. Sadly, based on this unsatisfactory experience, I have decided never to patronize this restaurant again and felt compelled to share my experience to caution potential diners considering this establishment. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and helps improve the accuracy and reliability of restaurant reviews and ratings on Gooogle maps. Atmosphere: 1
