Ate here as part of the visit to the hotel of which the eatery is a part. Encircling the patrons' dining area is a series of windows that allow viewing of various cooking stations. My visit was on a Thursday at lunch time and the dining area was about 10% occupied. Having observed cooking via the viewing windows did little to generate enthusiasm for the eatery. In fact, our group was discouraged from ordering more food after witnessing the lack of interest while cooking by the kitchen staff. As it turned out, the food is very lackluster. Aside from the small portion, the food lack any flavor. To make matter worse, the oysters used in the 蚵仔煎 are not fresh. It is definitely not worth the price charged. Being a eatery, there's no service to speak of so there is no saving grace for me to add any star. One can get better and often cheaper food from any of the department store eatery in Taipei.
