What a great lunch. And such a great view. Proper value for money. Flavor is amazing and so fresh. The perfect lunch by the water, best views. I would come here any day over the other overpriced restaurants around. The best! We had a nice meal. I was surprised to find they make milkshakes! They were about a 3/5. The Sushi my friends had was amazing. They raved about it. I had the vegetable Chow mein... it was nothing to write home about. I didn't really know what else to order as their vegetarian options were very limited, and even then, they don't use tofu, so the vegetarian options were limited to carrots, onions, cabbage and pepper with either rice or noodles and your sauce...so yeah it was okay. Upon arrival the waiters blatantly ignored us. Not sure if it was because of the color of our skin that didn’t match theirs or maybe we looked like we weren’t going to tip. Eventually a lovely black lady attended to us. We started of with Salmon Roses and they were honestly the worst we’ve ever had. They were a thick piece of rice and a thin slice of salmon, essentially it was just rice. Then we ordered their version of Sui Mai which also tasted horrible. It’s as if the chefs were hungover or something. That food wasn’t made with love. I unfortunately don’t have pictures as they honestly weren’t worth taking. They have the most amazing view of the Waterfront but everything was so disappointing. I don’t even want to try their other franchises. Best sushi in town for the price, the sit down combos are crazy cheap if you order correctly. Sometimes it takes a while if they’re busy but definitely worth the wait. We had a lovely experience at the restaurant last night. Food was amazing and the staff was friendly. Selecting a combo would be easier if they would add a list of what's in the combo on the menu would save alot of time instead of having to ask the waiter. We had 1 combo 4 and 2 combo 5's @ R280.
