We went to this tavern twice because food was delicious! Salmon was amazing! Meals were sooo big. Good price for quality. I live in Chicago but definitely I want to come back to this Tavern!

I was very excited when I came in. They were busy and it smelled great. Lunch started off fabulous with a red velvet martini. I ordered. Rare burger. Ian said that Ware would come out really red and I responded saying in my experience if I order medium rare, it will come out overcooked. Of course, the burger came out well done. He took it back in the manager out of the kitchen. My second burger came out medium well. At this point I gave up on the burger. I then ordered the friend chicken sandwich. It took over 30 minutes to get it and the place only had 2 tables at this point. When it came out- I was beyond disappointed. The chicken was all breading and no meat. In fact- when I tell you the straw for my drink and my shoe string fries were thicker/ it’s not a joke. At this point I say something. I don’t even eat. Bill comes- they charged me for food I could not even eat. I would never set foot in this place. Not once were the waters refilled or the Diet Coke. Shoe string fry next to the $20 chicken sandwich. Decide yourself.
