The staff here are incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The tagine and chicken couscous were absolutely delightful! This place is truly a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the bustling medina. The live music was an unexpected pleasure, adding an authentic and immersive experience to our meal, reminiscent of dining in a traditional Moroccan restaurant. I have come to the conclusion that the best restaurants in Essaouira are the hidden ones. About the food, it was one of the best Tajines I have ever tasted, and I’m Moroccan! We took the Calamari and Shrimps Tajine and it was great. Regarding the place, it has a unique vibe. It’s humble but cosy nevertheless! We have felt the true Moroccan essence. There was also a live music performance of Gnaoua (the local music of Essaouira) and it only made the atmosphere so much better. The staff is so friendly and we went back to our hotel so satisfied. We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. Food was excelent, full of flavour and made with love - you can feel that. And the music is nice too. The ovners are two very brawe, independent woman. I highly recomend that place. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person MAD 50–100

What an amazing discovery! We went to this place as it was close to our Riad in essaouira and it was fantastic. Great local vibe with live traditional music! I highly recommend this lovely restaurant! Fantastic place to gather with friends or alone for lunch or dinner! Cozy atmosphere and very clean! In my opinion, the best vegetable couscous in Essaouira!! They have great options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Fabulous service and friendly staff! The owner is a sweetheart, she's hardworking and is always giving her best to make sure all guests are taken care of and everyone is enjoying their experience. Every time I'm in Essaouira, I make a point to have dinner here. I appreciate the wonderful live Gnaoua music every night! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

We ate here on our first night in Essaouira and we had a great experience. It is a small restaurant and seemed a favorite among locals. We felt very welcomed and the live music added to the ambiance. The food was delicious too! I would definitely eat here again. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

This is a group of extraordinary local women making amazing food. This place has it all, the authenticity of Essaouira, traditional Moroccan food cooked in a little tucked kitchen, live Gnaoua music from a female band (which is rare to see in Morocco) and a kind, attentive Moroccan owner who just started her own business. I’ve been in Essaouira for a decade and this is one of the best meals I’ve had! Highly highly recommend. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person MAD 50–100
