Hands down the best taco spot in cedar falls. The quesa birria tacos have NEVER disappointed me. The service is always really quick and the quality is just perfect. If you try the birria there, get the ramen with it and thank me later. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes California Burrito

Awesome food, service, and atmosphere! We loved Tacos California when they were in a food truck on 6 corners in Waterloo, and it's great to see them have a beautiful location in Cedar Falls now. They bring something different from all the other great Mexican restaurants in town, with that unique California style. They have a lot of seating, and despite being busy, food came out fast. Prices are higher than fast food, but that's true of about everywhere these days, and the portions are big. Check it out! I absolutely love the food. Birria? Yes. Esquites? Of course. Are they the cheapest tacos in the world? No, but the quality is great. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Welcome into a large area with a lot of seating. This would be great for larger gatherings. Very clean looking and inviting 3 large menus above the counter and menus on the counter to choose your items from. There are many items to choose from. Street tacos, Birria tacos, burritos, tortas and even ramen. Don’t miss the sides such as fries and Esquites(Mexican street style corn) My order was the birria and ramen combo. 3 birria tacos and a bow of the ramen. Roughly $16 and Included a drink Want salsa and hot sauce? Don’t forget to ask at the pickup counter. There are many options to choose from Tacos were hot fresh and delicious. Loved the crunch with each bite and the juiciness of the meats. I also was given a spicy hot sauce to pair the tacos with. The Ramen was flavorful and the noodles were Al dente. It was a nice surprise to find shredded beef and cheese included! The ramen also doubled as dipping sauce for the tacos Overall I had a very pleasant experience and will be returning. A few friends had mentioned this place had recently opened and the food was amazing. They are correct. We ordered the sausage and chicken tacos, shrimp tacos, sopes with chicken, and an order of the mild street corn. The sausage and chicken tacos had a nice slice and grease from the sausage that complemented the meaty chicken well. Fresh cilantro and white onion to top. The shrimp tacos were juicy and the slaw was crisp and refreshing. Sopes…absolutely delicious. Great crunch, chewy inside. The mashed corn taste mixed with the pinto beans gave it a great earthiness. And it was topped with chicken, lettuce, and sour cream. Really hard to beat. The corn was fresh and tasty, but did not stand out as much as the rest of the meal. I might try the hot version next time. There was a large line but service was fast and friendly. It took maybe 15-20 minutes to get our food on Valentine’s Day night which seemed reasonable given volume of customers. A few things to note. -The menu is listed above the register but I did not see copies elsewhere (or on their Facebook page but that could be pending or I could just be missing it!). QR codes linked to the menu could be a good idea for them moving forward. -You can pay with card, but tips are cash only. -Check their Facebook page to ensure they are open when you want to go. Being a newer place with high volume, there are times when food runs out and hours might vary. Hopefully that will change in time. Overall I would highly recommend checking them out. Authentic Mexican street food at reasonable prices with fast friendly service. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Recommended dishes Chicken & Red Sausage

Hands down the best street tacos I have ever had. I ordered one chorizo, one Al pastor, and one carne asada street taco. Everything was perfectly seasoned and balanced and FRESH. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and attentive and the service was fast! The inside is modern and really cool! I will definitely be back!! Strong chemical smells upon entry and throughout. Noisy buzzers to notify customers when order is ready rather than vibrate. We requested an item with the meat on the side, but they couldn't make it with the meat on the side. They could only make it with or without the meat. Some things to learn regarding customer service. Tacos were good, but nothing I'd go out of the way for. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
When we first walked in everything was really clean. I enjoyed the atmosphere even the sticker column. The staff was very friendly and happy. Our food was made fairly quickly and served at a good temp. We both ordered food with sodas. My wife's drink was cold and my soda was warm so that was a bummer. My wife ordered the california chicken burrito and I got the birria burrito. We sadly found the food very bland and un mixed. We would get a mouthful of rice one bite and a mouthful of meat the next. I could not even taste any Chipotle or any peppers flavor in the birria meat. It was slightly sweet and watery we are used to a smoky Chipotle flavor. Let's just say we were really bummed by the food but we loved everything else. We will probably try the place 1 more time. So I will only take one star because the business excelled in everything else. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Super cute place! Family owned and operated. Heard so much about this place so had to try it and i’m so happy i did. I got 3 chicken tacos and my boyfriend got a carnitas taco and a street hot dog. Everything was perfect but I do wish they had margaritas to go with! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
