This place is so good my biggest fear is that it won't last long, as it's in danger of being a bit too palatably high-falutin for the area. In a land where mediocre corporate chain restaurants reign supreme, places like Tacoparty are a beacon of hope. One bite of their stratospherically superb guacamole will solidify the fact that this as fresh as food gets in the Grand Valley. A casual counter service experience was what we were expecting. What was delivered is above and beyond light table service that never left us wanting for water, fresh cutlery or another amazing taco, (which can easily be added to the original card you used to order at the counter.) The atmosphere was easygoing and picture-hipster-perfect, but in a lighthearted and never pretentious sort of way. Cocktails are beautifully executed and refreshing. Hip high-end taco joints are a dime a dozen these days, with a new one added quarterly to a gentrified neighborhood corner near you. What sets Tacoparty apart is their ultramodern fusion of traditional recipes and local ingredients. It's all crafted with an extortionary amount of culinary expertise for such a casual environment. This building is at its very essence a delicious tribute to the farming communities of the Grand Valley. Worth a few extra bucks per taco and then some. Eating here felt like I was in Healdsburg, CA at an elevated Mexican restaurant. The menu was unique, the presentation beautiful, and the service was kind and attentive. Everything felt intentional and planned for the best guest experience. We were on a walking/happy hour snack tour and this was our first stop, so I only ordered 1 taco, the Hot fried chicken . After taking my first bite, I wish I could have tried every taco. The chicken was beautifully flavored and juicy while the breading was so light and airy. The flavors worked so well together. The stoneware and bistro napkins were a classy touch. I want to fly back to eat here again! Excellent execution! We went to Tacoparty specifically for the porkbelly tacos, which were wonderful. I paid $33 for 4 tacos and water. You will automatically be charged 18% gratuity at the time of your order. They say its because they appreciate their employees, but I say pay them what they're worth as a wage and let the patrons decide on their own tips. You order at the counter, you seat yourself, and if you have anything other than water, it's in a bottle or a can. Not a oooo ahhh experience or atmosphere and it's pricey for "tacos". But if you go, get a Porkbelly taco. At least it's unique. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

This is a must-go for Grand Junction. Their take on guacamole is particularly beautiful and delicious and out of the box, but I don't think I've ever been disappointed by a single thing on their menu. I adore the creative take on street tacos but this would not be my recommendation for someone looking for more classic Mexican street tacos. They have very unique flavor combinations that may not be up everyone's alley, but it sure is up mine! Only regret is that I live an hour away and can't come in more frequently! The duck tacos, guac, and (made in-house) spiced pear agua fresca are some of my most enthusiastic recommendations!
