I have continually been disappointed by the terrible food quality at Taco Bell Defy in Brooklyn Park. Even with two prior experiences with the taco shells being completely cracked, my wife and I gave them another chance last weekend. Upon returning home just 5 minutes after picking up our dinner, we unwrapped the hard & soft shell tacos, revealing that they were all wet. This was likely from either sitting too long or too much moisture in whatever containers they use to store their shells. Regardless, as you can see in the photo I included in my review, the hard shell tacos were so moist, that the shells were completely broken across the bottom. There's no way to eat something like this cleanly, so I had to eat them like pizza. It was a total mess and very disappointing. Keep in mind, I'm a HUGE taco fan and will eat tacos from anywhere. Even mediocre tacos are fine by me, but this is just unacceptable. We normally pick up from the other Taco Bell in Brooklyn Park and have never had such consistent problems with their food quality as we've had with Taco Bell Defy. I've submitted feedback to Corporate but haven't received a response. Don't let the novelty of this new Taco Bell concept fool you... let my repeated experiences serve as a warning to find another location the next time you're craving tacos. The food was very good and the service was quick and efficient. We ordered on the app to have our order served through the tube. It was a fun idea but not as exciting as it seemed. Still recommend trying it out! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

This Taco Bell never fails to get your order wrong. They will give you a taco with barely any meat, they constantly don’t look at the customizations and always get them wrong. I called this Taco Bell and they told me I needed to file a complaint on the app and they would get back to me. After a week they had not so I called again and was told the same thing. They gave us a burned Crunchwrap and put sour cream on it. The cheesy Gordita crunch had the wrong sauce as I asked for chipotle and to remove the other sauce. On top of that, we waited 30 minutes with one car in front of us and a few cars surrounding us. All food was cold and little toppings. We have given them one more shot and again, they got it wrong. There was barely any meat on anything. They did not give us chips for our chips and cheese and we had half of someone else’s order. Food is generally perfectly on-par with the rest of Taco Bell locations nearby. It’s Taco Bell, definitely not gourmet. Excellent concept, but I’ve found that late at night the lines will become ridiculously slow, less than one car served every few minutes. Not sure if it’s a staffing issue or what, but speed is my major complaint. It’s hit or miss, sometimes it can be fast, and sometimes I end up waiting 20+ minutes. Using gravity to serve food what a great tool. The food was great did not however know that you had to order through the app to get it from the gravity DEFY-ing tubes. Taco Bell Defy! It's still Taco Bell, so you are likely familiar with their food. It's basically like a bank drive through, but with food. The tacos and burritos at this location were stuffed full and were definitely fresh which was great. The Nachos BellGrande were a little bit light on beef, but it was nice that there wasn't too much cheese so the chips stayed crunchy. This is a new concept store and it just opened this week, so it was extremely busy. This made the wait fairly long, but it was understandable since they just opened. As great a concept this is with multiple lines, it only works if it's executed properly. More often than not, my order comes down the food elevator and it's not correct. I have to then tell them and wait longer for my order. What is the point of ordering ahead in the app if I still have to wait? My order is listed precisely in the app, how do they still get it wrong? Sometimes the drive thru line goes faster than the order ahead line, which really makes no sense. I entered my order in the app long before the drive thru customer placed their order on site, how are they getting their food faster? Something needs to be fixed. My experience at the two-story Taco Bell on Zane by Hy-Vee was yet the worst of my experiences in a fast food the experience was one of the worst I had had in a very long time and rarely experienced the type of treatment that I received the employees were incompetent had no idea which way to turn. They had no idea and no customer service whatsoever they were rude and they told us if you want to reorder you have to drive around and reorder well that didn't work out so we were told to go pull over to the side and they would bring us the food which they never the cashier was a young girl that was definitely not trained she had no idea what she was doing scared of the wrong order and expected us to reorder go back around line and repay I will never go to that Taco Bell again the worst customer service ever and we ended up not getting fed and them having our I seriously believe that if Taco Bell is serious about their reputation those girls will no longer be employed without additional training Service Dine in Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Such a fun experience! Good, fast service and the cinnabon delights were delicious. It was our babies first Taco Bell trip at 23 days old, he got to taste some cinnamon sugar.

It's a taco bell so you can't expect much. If you order in advance it is pretty quick.
