Worst soft taco I've ever had. It was so small and had hardly any ingredients in it. Didn't taste too great either and the taco sauce or whatever it was didn't help. I got more volume of food from the french fries with my combo. And almost $10 for the combo?! Ridiculous!! First time there and I won't be back. I use to love this place years ago so i decided to go back last night and ordered a smothered burrito that looked like a enchilada I spent 32.00 o nothing special and not feeling at all. Then asked for a flour soft taco to get a hard taco that I couldn't eat cause I just had dental work done :( kinda bummed me out cause I told my husband that has never Been there how good it was. I used the drive-thru but the place did look nice from the outside and it was very busy. I got a soft shell taco combo. I ate my order in their parking lot. The meat was almost cold and didn’t have much flavor. The only thing that saved it was the hot sauce. The fries were good. If I ever go back I may try a burger. Not sure why this place was so busy. I love their fresh peach shake. They are usually very good. I went there two times this week just to get peach shake. I ordered the same thing on both days, small size peach shake with extra peaches. But for some reason, the price was different. On Tuesday, it was almost $10, and it was $8 something dollar on Friday. We even asked why the price was different and they said they didn't know. I’ve really only tried the shakes and fries, and if you like chocolate, this is not the place for you. If you’re okay with all vanilla-based shakes, you might enjoy this place because they have delicious chunks of many flavors in the shakes. However, for a chocolate person like me, I was disappointed. This place is one of my home town faves. I wish/hope they’ll put a location further north. Funny enough, I’ve never had their Mexican food. I go their for their hamburgers and fries. They have this unique/generic type of fry, that is just soooo delicious. I think it’s a love or “meh” situation with Taco Amigo. Some of my friends see them as “meh”. It's so good there, everyone thinks it's only Mexican because of the name of course but I got a double BURGER and FRIES and they were the best I've ever had. Like the yummy Burger joints you run into like Glades,Barreys in small city's like Spanish fork Utah. Please try that instead of their Mexican menu next time you go❤️👍.
