What a great little treat in Plainview! Since moving back, I've been missing a place to grab decadent dessert items. A friend recommended Table on 10th and it didn't disappoint. The food is excellent: I've tried the chicken salad for lunch and the balsamic chicken for dinner, but haven't had a chance to try breakfast yet. They have a selection of cookies, cupcakes, and bars, and then daily specials of cakes and pies. Plus gluten free options. If you are in Plainview, it is worth a visit. Love love LOVE this place. I wish I could bring the whole place home with me! The food is fresh homemade and delicious. Everything can be made gluten free if you ask. The chef comes out and greats you. 12/10 service food and vibe. If you are allergic to gluten and haven’t had a biscuit in a really long time… go here and you won’t be disappointed! Oh and I’ll be back to try those desserts! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Spur of the moment decision to try Table on 10th from having been at appointments most of the day. Friday and Homecoming game for our town. Budiness was moderately busy but still had room to seat guests at arrival. Set the menu with some selections of sides. Wide selection for dessert options for there, or you can have boxed to take home. I chose the Chicken Marsela with the baked sqaush. There were choices of salads as well. The food was served in a very short time and was packaged as a go meal as I asked if I could take it with me. Everyone was very accommodating and asked what I would like as the takeout. I am very appreciative of the person who helped me make the selection and her extra mile. Food is well prepared and seasoned in a very palatable way for someone who is sensitive to seasoning. The food was very well without the salty overload I usually experience in eating out. Have daily menus Monday-Friday starting with the breakfast foods, lunch hour, and early evening. What a refreshing surprise to find exquisitely prepared food in Plainview, Texas!! Tables on 10th exceeded my every expectation. As I walked in to the restaurant for lunch with my wife, I was greeted promptly by a smiling staff member who invited me to sit at a table of our choice. We selected a location that most people avoid—right next to the kitchen door. From this vantage point I could survey the smartly decorated atmosphere, the neat tables and chairs, the inviting baked goods on display, and get a delightful sneak preview of the menu from the mouth watering aromas emanating from the kitchen. The service staff was prompt in bringing our beverages and taking out orders. A brief moment later we were served our lunch. We chose the baked chicken infused with black truffle oil, mashed potatoes with Gouda (and real butter), and sweet green beans. Truthfully I wasn’t prepared for what I was about to taste. The chicken breast was modestly sized by Texas standards was moist, tender and seasoned to perfection. Mashed potatoes are so frequently a “Ho-hum” glop of white pasty starch. Not so at Tables on 10th!! The potatoes were light and fluffy with enough lumps to satisfy the texture enthusiast in me. The Gouda cheese, butter, (and maybe a hint of garlic?) made these potatoes a standout side dish. Judging by the location of the restaurant I would have expected canned or (hopefully) frozen green beans. True to their commitment to quality the chef chose fresh green beans (with a slight satisfying crunch) seasoned with thinly sliced bacon (or was it prosciutto?), herbs, and the slightest hint of sweetness. The sweets in the bakery case were calling to us. My wife selected a beautiful blueberry scone to enjoy later. She knows how much I love coconut cream pie and insisted that I have a slice. The pie’s merengue was at least four inches thick with crisp coconut flakes on top. It was absolutely the very best merengue I eaten (and it didn’t “weep”). The custard wasn’t too sweet, yet was rich and flavorful. I wasn’t terribly impressed by the crust however. It seemed ever so slightly stodgy and dense. This meal rated an “11”!! Well done, Tables on 10th!! I look forward to returning again and again. Jim R. - Amarillo, Texas Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
