At some point a few weeks after the restaurant opened I would rate this the best place to eat in Beira. Sadly not anymore. I called in advance to reserve a table and placed an order for the daily dish. Arrived 10 minutes later and the table was reserved but the order was not placed. So I ordered again on arrival the daily dish as advised should take 15 - 20. I waited 45 minutes and only received the food after complaining. The Cod fish was Cold and the taste was average. The steak I ordered well done was close to raw, tough and chewy. My rating for this experience would be lower if it wasn’t for the great service and attention received by the waiter. A more upmarket restaurant ambience. Food delicious - mainly Portuguese dishes. Waitron staff attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu. Would I go back - definitely. And, would recommend for a very pleasant meal and experience.

This place was recommended to us so we gave it a try ... when we arrived the bar man was playing with his phone and continued to do so as we were sitting at the counter until my Mozambican friend gave out to him .... the service didn't get much better so we left after two beers Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

If you want fine dining without breaking your bank, this is the place to go to! From wine to dessert, everything was excellent, as was the prompt and polite service. The kitchen was most accommodating and obliged with the slight changes to our plates that we asked for. Overall, a nice evening out!
