Had not been here in years. Had a Cadillac margarita at the bar and also ordered a platter of appetizers that consisted of roasted potatoes , steak and linguisa bites and crispy buttered bread. Not only was the Cadillac margarita excellent but the appetizer board was wonderful. The margarita had a good amount of alcohol, but was blended well. Soooo many places that you order a cocktail now a days you can tell that they don't use the right amount. I have paid 20 dollars for a margarita and you know that you have been cheated. As for the appetizer board the steak bites were tender and very plentiful. The 4 of us had more then enough. Only thing I didn't like is that they had very high stools and as I had recently had surgery it was very difficult for me to climb up on one. We had a very accommodating and personal bartender. I have found it difficult to find good restaurants here in this town. Many used to be good, but they have noticeably cut back in the quality of food that is served to save money. The bar is a cool place to meet for drinks. The drinks are good, and the bartenders are friendly. The restaurant is bomb. Go have dinner and enjoy the Santa Maria style BBQ. I was staying at the Best Western Inn up the street. The Swiss was recommended to me by the desk clerk. I was not disappointed. I would recommend that you get there early.
