Love Sweetwater Tavern in Merrifield. Everytime we're in the area we build in stopping there for a meal. We stopped in Saturday for lunch. I enjoyed their Crabcake sandwich and my husband enjoyed the Sweetwater Roast Chicken Salad. Highly recommend both. Also, you have to get the Ozzie Rolls. They melt in your mouth delicious, even as leftovers the next day. Service has always been great. Their wait staff, hostesses, and servers are all top notch and customer service is top priority and very evident. I highly recommend building some time in for lunch or dinner. You won't be sorry. Took the family out for my son’s birthday. The atmosphere is right for a family outing. The food was good and reasonably priced. The service was fast and efficient. My only issue was the food was warm, not cold, not hot. I recommend getting the bread basket because of the unlimited refills and the bread tastes like donuts. I also recommend making an early reservation, we arrived at 4:30 and left around 6:30. As we left the restaurant it was packed and there were a lot of people waiting to be seated. A simple but comfortable restaurant. Plenty of seating. It’s great for a family dinner or after work get together. Service was great. Everyone was very attentive. Any one of the servers passing by grabbed our empty plates or glasses or asked if they could refill our drinks. Food came out in a timely manner and hot. Everything was cooked to our liking. This place was fantastic. The hostess was really friendly and welcoming. My cousin and uncle had built/hyped this place up for so many years, and I finally was able to eat here. The Aussie rolls are amazing soft heavenly bread/donut mix. The chicken my uncle ordered was tasty and filling. I had the Fish dish which didn’t disappoint!! The service was excellent. Pretty nice selection of food! So the restaurant's sauce for their fried calamari was really good--not a sweet chili sauce cop out. Instead, it's more of a lobster bisque sauce and it was really spectacular. The Cajun pasta was standard faire, but still great nonetheless. Staff was incredible and would refill drinks it seemed when I was running low while not giving off the aura of "do you need anything?" every three minutes. Definitely recommend this place, it's great for food, excellent for service, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Food was really good. We got the BBQ ribs, crab cake and petite filet mignon. That was my first time having crab cake and it was so delicious. The mash potato was creamy and the sauce goes perfectly.
