Visiting Georgetown this weekend and we decided to hit up Sweet Lemon for Sunday breakfast before we headed home. Be sure and get there early if you want to sit outside or don’t want to wait as the place filled up quick. I ordered the steak and egg croissant and my wife had the avocado toast. We definitely should have split something because we both had leftovers. I really enjoyed my meal and my wife praised the avocado toast. I also got a side of breakfast potatoes which were excellent. Wonderful place to sit and relax while you enjoy a good meal. Definitely come and enjoy a meal if you’re in the area. The place is so cute. Besides my BLT no being up to par with my expectations, (bacon had a weird old taste) the waiter offered to bring me another one and or make me something new. Absolutely love this sweet gem! Had our first business table talk in the upstairs big booth and was perfection just wish we had outlets for laptops but was told next time to request the private room if available. Fun spot right on the square! They had a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, and although they were packed and gave us an estimated 30 minute wait time, it only took around 10 minutes to get a table. The service was great and the inside was cozy. The food was fine, but not really noteworthy in my opinion. The best part of the place is the location and overall vibe. Also, they dont have any soda on tap. If you're like me and cherish the idea of a diet coke with your meal, you will be sad.
