Do not bring your kids here. We were a larger party with very well behaved kids but were judged as soon as we walked inside. Within the 5 minutes we were there the hostess, very rudely, told our kids “there is no yelling in here,” no one was yelling, we were just getting situated. Then, once again as we were getting situated she turned to one of our children and said “there is no volume in here,” when she literally just turned on her tablet. We ended up leaving. Once again - not kid friendly. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

My wife and I stopped for a light lunch at the Seeet Basil Eatery in Palm Desert. We were greeted by Martin with a big smile. He showed us to a great table outside. It was a beautiful day. My wife suggested the Caprese salad. That was a wonderful choice. Fresh mixed greens with yummy soft Burrata and excellent balsamic. This fantastic salad came with heirloom tomatoes and some red onion. We asked Martin for a little fresh Parmesan to top our salad and a little olive oil on the side. This was an outstanding lunch, honestly one of the best Caprese salads I’ve ever had. I’m so glad my wife decided to stop here. I left Martin a great tip he earned every penny of it. When you get good food and good service be sure to leave a great tip! I would highly recommend the Sweet Basil California Eatery to anyone. This was truly a 5 star experience! Loved this little gem. The house pasta is absolutely delicious, my husband had the meatloaf which he said was the best ever( except for mine of course ) Service was impeccable without being overbearing and love the atmosphere.
