It’s delicious, fairly priced, family owned, was the best Japanese food I ever had in my life so far. The service and ambiance were also nice(smaller sized restaraunt). I would return and get the curry again which was a great deal for a sit down restaurant. This is because I got a salad, miso soup, and huge plate of curry and rice.

Incredible!!! The best sushi I've had in a long time. An absolute diamond. Every single thing, down to the miso soup, is insane. Still dreaming of the big fat oily delicious o toro sushi and the so fresh and creamy uni sushi. Loved the Papillon roll so much, which is torched and warm and so flavorful. The salmon teriyaki with its crispy skin is also divine. Also, there's outdoor seating so bring your dog! Skip the wait and book a reservation! Coming back next week.

Rolls are falling apart, not fresh avocado, it was black. Philatedhelphia sushi missed avocado.
Check my photos, some pieces just don't have filing at all.

Busy, tiny, and delicious. You may be able to overhear conversation from every other table inside, but you'll get some high quality sushi at the same time. Decent selection of Sake as well. The service is quick and responsive. I'd venture to say that this may be the best value sushi restaurant in the mid-peninsula. Some places are fancier, but we have one piece of food that wasn't yummy.

I don't have to go far away for high quality sushi anymore! This family style place lives up to its name - family feel of the restaurant. The fish is fresh. They have many fancy rolls with the right amount of flavor so you can still appreciate the natural flavor of the ingredient. The dish bowls are HUGE. The oyako-don needs more flavor to my taste though. Otherwise, great dining experience and I would love to come back. Oh, the food here is priced very reasonably. I have a big bill because we were hungry and ordered way too much haha.

I finally got to try this place after hearing friends rave about it multiple times. The omakase is quite excellent for a reasonable price with generous portions. And the fish is so fresh and tasty! The general vibe is relaxed. Looks like a family run business. Service is attentive. What a hidden gem!

The food was okay and price is reasonable, take out packaging is good. The hamachi Kama is smaller than expected, the shrimp tempura has too much breading and the seafood udon turns out to be just salmon fish in it, was disappointed. A dine-in experience might be different.

Amazing sushi! Parking is easy and they don’t skimp on the sushi at all!! The nigiri is properly made with lots of flavor, texture and fattiness. Highly recommend the Hokkaido uni. Sake Kama was also rich and delicious.

Love the food here. Service is great. A small family owned restaurant that really serves excellent quality sushi. I can really say that this place is in my top three Japanese restaurants to go to. I will definitely be coming back for sure.

Great Dine In experience, for early Saturday evening. The waitress was prompt, and brought drinks and edamame appetizer within minutes. Nigiri has plentiful amount of fish, and could have just a bit more rice (it's usually the other way around). Although the Chef Special is expensive, it's not only beautiful, but 5+ stars in its own right. Prices reflect being in the SF Bay Area, but quality for the price is still some of the best our group had. 5.0 Stars solid.
