This was our first time trying out Sushi Fix. We thought it would be a fun date night and head to Wayzata on a Sunday evening. Would highly recommend getting here right when it opens. We were able to get a spot at the sushi bar within about 5 minutes of coming but it took over an hour to get our food after ordering. I started with green tea which came in a cool heavy teapot. We got the calamari salad and gyoza apps to start. The calamari salad was good and reminded me of ceviche. It was a raw and cold salad. The gyoza was ok. We stuck with all rolls for our entrees. We were recommended the Screaming “O” as the most popular roll on the menu. It was wrapped in tin foil and heated with a torch. Highly recommend this one!! We also tried the BooBoo. Also really good but not as good as the first one. A little spicier. We ended with the mochi ice cream and tried 3 different flavors. So good. Overall had an ok experience. Our server was nice but seemed really busy and didn’t check on us too often. Would potentially go back but will probably try other sushi places before making the drive to Wayzata again due to the cost and how long it took to get our rolls. Absolutely delicious and a wonderful experience. It is pricey, but it's worth it for the quality of the sushi. Sushi Fix does not take reservations, so larger parties may have a long wait. Plan to order rolls asap - maybe even preview the menu to get a good idea of what you want and then look at the appetizers and other items. They told us upfront sushi rolls were taking about an hour to get to the table and they were not far off (about 50 min for us). Will return for more Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Solid. Dined on a Monday night and sat at the bar. Jeff, our bartender, was super nice as were all the all the servers we chatted with as they picked up drinks from the bar. Loved the Hamachi Jalapeño & Jonny-B-gooD roll. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We had a good time here overall. I did have a few small nitpicks though. We ordered avocado tempura, and agedashi tofu. Both these tasted nice. We also had a veggie udon, one veggie rolls and one crispy rolls made veggie without shrimp. The veggie roll tasted fantastic- delicious and flavorful, the veggie one without shrimp was ok but we asked for something to be substituted instead of the shrimp and we just got it without the shrimp which was a little disappointing. The broth for the udon was salty. They could really add a couple of other vegetarian roll options I think. I also was a little disappointed that the floor of the restaurant not very clean and it bothered me that given the upscale pricing and nature of the place, the floor felt sticky to walk on. Maybe this was just a one off day. Service was attentive ! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

Wait for a long time (more than 30 mins) on Monday night. The sushi was good but one of the fish was a bit fishy. Love the Uni and scallops. Salmon just kind of vanilla. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Sushi

Sushi Fix is *the* place to go for Sushi if you even remotely live in the area. Never have we had something that wasn’t fresh! On top of that their chefs are amazing, if you’re feeling adventurous you MUST give up control and let them do their omakase option. The chefs make things off menu that are mind blowing. There’s a reason why you’ll wait during a normal dinner time rush, so get some apps and a sake and enjoy! There’s no reason to go downtown and pay for parking/fight traffic/pay more for less food. I got the squid for appetizer and it was 3/5. Squid was chewable and it has a great texture. I did not enjoy the saltiness of the squid. The sauce was a bit too salty and that goes also for the stuffing inside. The chicken teriyaki was 5/5. The sauce was perfect with the sweetness and I could taste the butter with the sautéed vegetable. The chicken was soft and easy to eat. The sushi is a crab roll and it was good! 5/5 Very flavorful and everything went well together. Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
I've had sushi a lot of places, this is top 3 best I've ever had! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. We sat at the bar & the bar tender was awesome! Helpful in recommendations, even gave us the plums from in the plum wine we finished off😆 we'll definitely go back to try more of their unique menu
Sushi Fix has consistently impressed me as one of the premier destinations for sushi in Minnesota. Whenever I am trying out a new sushi restaurant, I find myself inevitably comparing it to Sushi Fix and more often than not, it falls short in comparison. The sushi at Sushi Fix is consistently fresh and of an impressive quality, with generous portions that never fail to satisfy. Among their menu items, the Hot Seafood Salad, Silly Billy, and any of the Sushimi options are particularly noteworthy and come highly recommended by this satisfied customer. If you are a fan of sushi, I would urge you to give Sushi Fix a try as soon as possible – I have no doubt that you will be thoroughly impressed with the delectable fare on offer. Hands down the best sushi restaurant I have been to in MN. I moved from Cali about 3 years ago and have been looking for a good sushi place. Sushi fix hits the spot. Service was excellent, our server was friendly, attentive and checked on us regularly. Answered questions on dishes and made recommendations for substitutes for similar items that we would usually order in Cali. Sushi quality is excellent. Their signature rolls are flavorful and aren't dependent on sauces or soy sauce. My favorite roll is their wagyu hand roll, Wagyu beef and lobster how can you go wrong. I would say this would be in the mid to high price range, just as a heads up. My average bill there has been $220 for 2 people not including alcohol. This would be due to ordering more of the higher priced items. I would highly recommend this for anyone how enjoy's sushi.
