An absolutely great experience!
The Surf Dojo is a must for anyone visiting Playa Venao and for those especially interested in starting to surf or improving their existing skills. The staff was really exceptional, couldn't say anything greater about how warm and welcoming everyone was. The surf instruction was fantastic. I was a true beginner, they made the whole experience super easy, helped me make real progress over the week, and even more importantly had a great time doing it! I got to spend some time working remotely there, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Also, be sure to try the Acaí bowl!

I had a great surf experience with these dudes. I was able to rent various surfboards (short board, long board and a fun shape). They also had a great breakfast. The açaí bowl was delicious. Every morning I was greeted with a smile from the surf dojo crew. Thanks for having me!
Siempre regreso a este lugar. Me encanta! Puedes rentar tablas, hacer algo de skate y hacer muchas cosas más. A su lado está La Barca. Full recomendado.

Surf Dojo camp was amazing for our kids. They loved it, safety was always present, the kids learned so much and had the best time. We will be back as many times as possible.

Best place para que los niños aprendan surf y skate. Mis hijos están tomando el campamento de verano y son realmente felices, están estimulado y muy bien cuidados. Tienen un team magnífico con profesores responsables y que se nota disfrutan de lo que hacen. Cien por ciento recomendado.

We only came here for breakfast. So, this is not a reflection of their surf lessons which may be great. But, as for food, we ordered a croissant and coffee. The croissant turned out to be covered in mold. They served about 3 ounces of coffee for $4. Didn't even fill half of the glass. Again, probably a great place for surf lessons, but if you're just looking for breakfast in Playa Venao, look elsewhere.

The BEST place to learn how to surf or improve your skills. Jacobo is dedicated, super experienced and committed to bring you to the next level. As a beginner myself, he picked up on my faults, broke them down and started al over again with proper technique… it is surf coaching, not surf lessons. 100% recommended
