It was first time at this place. It’s very busy…which is typically a great sign. The staff are really friendly. I ordered the pan fried walleye with buttered potatoes. The walleye was excellently prepared and delicious. My friend had the patty melt with French fries. He seemed to enjoy it. Overall a great experience and I would come back. 1st time here last night, 1/31/24. I drive by it often, but finally stopped in! Seated right away, loved the waitress, the cheese curds, Philly sandwich, and porkchops were a hit! Parking was scarce, but that's ok, we just parked in the overflow! Yes I do take pictures of the bathroom, as my mom is disabled and uses the bars in the bathroom, and uses a rolling walker, so it's important for me to know if we can use the bathrooms easily. The service is always top notch. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Reservations are an absolute must. Tried and true favorites from the menu: the cheese curds, walleye fish, any of the cheesecakes and the creme brulee is perfect. I was in town on business and it was a great option for our team dinner. Thanksgiving dinner plate with pumpkin pie was wonderful! Size of a dinner Platter. Great price, food, and service. Only con is it was very cramped and made it difficult for those of us with disabilities to get around. Definitely recommend. We went at 11 and it was a full house when we left 90 minutes later. Well this gem of a restaurant was so welcoming it felt like we were at a family members house for the game. Everyone was so nice (even the customers) the service was great. The food was good as well. Sunshine Factory never disappoints. Only reason I gave it four stars and not five is that I messed up and went on a Vikings game day. 😂 The food was great, I got the broiled shrimp and my sister got the breaded shrimp with new potatoes. Both were excellent and they were huge shrimp.
