Stayed at the Nexus resort for 5 days. This facility has location, location and location. Great at bring an order to your parasol at the beach. But for new year they took off all the easy western meals off the menu. Selection of beers, well 3, Tiger, Carlsberg and Heinekin. A good craft beer would be nice. The prices are as expected. The resort is magical, prettiest golf course I have played.

Breakfast earlier was just ok. Limited choices or the food was refilled. I had to follow up on my omelet. They have an acoustic night I think I have enjoyed my dinner better than my breakfast earlier. 😂
Nice view! Food okay, just a bit more expensive... Iced coffee taste like water...
They were playing very annoying Ibiza-Partymusic-Cover made in China... And the dozens of aggressive flies made the dinner finally horrible.
Addendum: Got very heavy diarrhea with vomiting. I vomited all night long, until the last remnants of the mushroom risotto were out of my body. 🤮
Nice location beside the beach. Can't really see the sunset or sunrise cause of the location of the bar. But the evening colours were still beautiful nonetheless.
Food I would give it a 3/10. All the seafood was unavailable. My pasta bread was made of rock. The drinks were poorly made. The cocktails were not well shaken. The only saving grace is the pizza and beer. The only food that is decent to get at this restaurant.
Staff is not trained at all. For a resort like this, I'm not sure how you accept staff that don't know the menu, don't know what was available that night, don't know about the content in the dishes we asked about. This is basic information a waiter should know. The waiter didn't know what was in the mixed juice, but still blurted out saying there's just no mango in it, and mango juice isn't even part of the menu. Absolutely unacceptable.
It was my husbands birthday and I had pre-booked a cake (you have to if you want a cake slice or a whole cake). I asked for a candle when the cake came out. The waitress refused to get it saying that the place to get the candle is far away. My god, isn't hospitality your forte. I would have accepted if you said you didn't provide candles. Please screen your staff before hiring them and train them before allowing them to serve.

Complete rubbish. Was there on 2/01/23 at 2.30pm. Manager and waiter inform no meals and drinks as needing confirmation from kitchen. I asked what time do they open. Manager said 12.30pm to 9pm. So, for 2 hours they were waiting confirmation if got stock?? Said no stock of food and drinks. Saw the chef through the see through kitchen cooking food. Asked the manager if possible to order from penyu restaurant and get it delivered to the sunset bar. They said no. Might as well call it tunggu bar and grill.
Food quality is good. Nice, polite and quick service. Price is higher than normal due to it's location inside the resort. Good grill, choices of pizza. Good drink selection. Located at the ocean side with nice view on the sunset. Great destination for lunch, dinner and afternoon drink.
It's a restaurant that takes at least an hour and a half for every menu you order to come out. Contrary to its name, Sunset Bar, the sun is hidden by the mountains, so you can't see it at all. don't be fooled.
Steaks were really bad. Can't even get my Medium Rare order correct. Sent me a dry well done steak. Not worth the price.
Pizzas and Pastas quality were above average.
