Very nice beach restaurant. It was not so windy when I was there, so I had a perfect rest listening to their reggae mixtape. There are nice people selling tourist items and my friends got ink tattoos. FYI, you might want to clarify size of food portions before ordering. I bought espresso coffee and got a very (funny) small cup. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Atmospheric food at the Watimu Beach then go to the Sunrise Restaurant. Tuktuk will take you and pick you up again! Just do it! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Absolutely useless, at first it seemed pleasant, put an order in. 2 hours later we went to find out about the food and nothing. Servizio zero! Da non racmandare a nessuno!

Horrible experience; we went there in low season and they told us they could cook fresh fish, (3000 ksh for a plate of rice and mixed grilled fish). We waited for 3 hours, the waiter arrived with cold fish in a plastic box (no plates, no knifes, no forks). We discovered he went to cook the fish we don’t know where. Never again!

Never again, we ordered the food and it arrived after almost 3 hours. Super expensive, the kitchen was closed so they went to cook we don’t know where (and we discovered only after). The food arrived completely cold in a plastic box with no plates, forks and knifes.

My experience of Sunrise Beach Restaurant is of feeling like am hme. The staff go out of their way to be friendly. They even allowed us to bring in fish that was roasted for us on an open fire outside the hotel, and they made us the lical traditionsl food, ugali to go with the fish. One waiter even spoke my local dialect Kimeru to me after overhearing me speak on the phone. I would live to go back again. Any day Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Absolutely horrible. My burger had no taste and the fries were soggy. The service was horrible and the Italian woman (owner) was very rude. The seafood was not fresh and it was cold. Go to Willy's right next door, much better prices, service, and taste then Sunrise.

Menu has the wrong listing and the owner seems to be very rude to customers. Very bad attitude not only do they not know how to handle customers they are rude. I would not recommend the place to anyone.
