Best place for food in Butwal city. All the things are unforgettable everythings are proper managed. Staffs are quite good, manager ownself is a cook which is very addressing. I love all tha ambience food quality and atmosphere.👌🏻🥰 Please visit once to take the taste and mouth watering flavours.

While heading towards Butwal (a town in Western part of Nepal), we somehow came across this restaurant named 'Sungava'. Sungava means the wild orchid found in the hilly regions of Nepal. It is located near Butwal and is quite near (almost 15 kilometers) to the Indian Border- Sonauli.
The name of this restaurant had already catched our fancy and being quite hungry, we decided to stop here for having a quick meal. To our surprise, it looked quite spacious and well-maintained from inside as Mr Tilak Puri, the owner of the restaurant, welcomed us warmly and escorted us towards a beautiful, tiny hut built in the garden area. There was a lovely sitting arrangement with the lush greenery around making it a perfect ambience. Knowing that we were from India, the very humble and a true gentleman Mr Puri himself suggested us some specialities of his restaurant. A traditional Nepalese dish Duck Choila and Mutton for us, Cordon Bleu and Pizza for the kids! Being the Momo lovers, we also added some Chicken and Veg Momo to our order. Surprisingly, these Momo turned out to be much more better than what we had in Kathmandu. Duck Choila and Mutton Sekuwa were marinated in local spices. Despite being totally new to our tastes, we relished both the dishes too much! All the food was so delicious that we couldn't stop ourselves coming back to Sungava for the dinner as well. We ordered Curry with Tawa Roti in the main course and the Curry was unexpectedly amazing!
It is not an expensive food joint. The prices were reasonable for almost all the dishes we tried. It also has a bar where one can enjoy Indian and Domestic liquor.
Sungava is a restaurant which doesn't get off your minds easily, nor does it get off from your taste buds! It is definitely the place we are going to visit again whenever we are in Nepal next!!

A very nice and good restaurant, where you can enjoy authentic Nepali food, along with other kinds of recipes. The owner is a sweet person, who takes personal interest in the kitchen. The hygiene is up to mark, and I felt the taste was super.
I would love to be back in this restaurant whenever I am again in Butwal town or nearby area.

A Good Restaurant in Tilottama Drivertole. Amazing hospitality, friendly staff, delicious food, and wonderful and peaceful environment are the remarkable things. This would be the perfect restaurant to meet up with friends.

I'm a big fan of Veg Chilli Momos from Sungava! That's the best you get in town.
Moreover, tandoori tea was unique experience and I recommend everyone to try it.
