Nice place to stop for lunch...about $25-30 for lunch. Excellent French dip and chicken salad. Sweet potato fries were well cooked and tasty. The chicken sandwich was a bit bland. In addition to a small dining area, there is seating in the bar and outside. We would definitely stop by again. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Parking definitely a challenge, So in our party we ordered the Pesto Penne, a Lamb burger and waffle with strawberries. Complimentary danishes for delivered to the table. Our server was very friendly and nice. Food with server probably. Pretty good. The pasta was tasty but the portions are WAY too big for lunch and the prices match - it’s the same as their dinner portion. It would be great if they could reduce both. Great service until the guy seemingly forgot about us on the patio after the food came out. Overall good but not great for lunch. Location in the heart of San Juan Capistrano. It's on the corner. The atmosphere is cute. Food is good if you are looking for something different. Ordered the bbq ribs . The ribs were tender however it is not traditional bbq. More of a tangy tomatoe base . Scallops are huge ..however little salty for my taste. To a splendid afternoon birthday at "The Sun Dried Tomatoe". Started by big smiles and a willingness to help explain all that this amazing restraunt had to offer. From the food to the drinks. To begin we had Fried Calamari and Duck Taquitoes wrapped in a blue tortilla both were amazing but we just had to have one more order of the Taquitoes I washed it down with one of the best mojitos I have ever had. For dinner we had the Pan Seared Ahi, Vegan Penne with chicken and shrimp, Vegetarian Lasagna and there Signature Tomatoe Soup. So Delicious! After Dinner they brought me out a Huge piece of chocolate cake and a delicious ice cream covered fudge bar! Thats not all, the manager then came to sing me Happy Birthday! His voice was incredible! A true professional for sure! All in all it was an amazing experience and I would reccomend this place to anyone for a special evening or just a casual dinner! So Good! First time dining at this amazing Restaurant and had the most amazing dinner at Sundried tomato. Food was delicious, service was great! Came here to celebrate my birthday and let me tell you the amazing service I received from this beautiful server Esther. She was very friendly & Fast paced gave us so many food and drink recommendations! Esther was constantly checking on us made sure we had everything truly made us feel welcomed. She recommended me to try the Prime Rib special and did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious! Amazing customer service! Our overall experience was delightful and 100% will be returning. Had a great lunch on a day trip to San Juan Capistrano here. Had the blue corn duck taquitos. They came with fresh guacamole and sweet and sour dipping sauce. They were amazing!
