I've been going to Summer Moon for years, and I have never had a bad cup of coffee here. But this location doesn't meet the same quality as all the others across DFW.
The baristas were quite rude upon arrival and let me know upon ordering they closed in 30 minutes. As someone with over 10 years in the service industry, that was off-putting. 5 minute warnings make sense, but 30 minutes for a coffee shop? Not cool.
The coffee itself seemed to be made quickly and it's truly the first drink I've gotten here in over 5 years of coming that's been disappointing. I know this is a new location, so I hope it will improve with time and the quality of the chain doesn't decline.

If you want an expensive and basic coffee and pay extra tips as a requirement come to this place, I ordered an iced “latte” but it was more like “iced milk” flavor was okay but the espresso shot was absolutely 0, it didn’t even taste like coffee, place it’s way to small that you feel uncomfortable when there’s more people there. Not recommended

I ordered the strawberry mocha late. The late was so sweet it gave me a belly ache. Next time I’ll try a straight up drip coffee. I also got the bacon quiche. The quiche was one of the best I’ve ever had. The crust was buttery and flaky. Restaurant was very clean. The workers are knowledgeable and very sweet. All in all I’d try dining in again but I’ll just order a different drink.

I visited this location for the first time and ordered the double sausage kolache and 1/2 moon coffee. The coffee has too much milk in it. Which for me is a problem. Skim milk and moon milk. Too much. A 2% milk alternative would be nice. Also, there are not enough expresso shots in the coffee to balance out all the milk. The final issue was that the kolaches ordered were still cold frozen on the center back. On top, it felt hot and ready to go. That first bite...ughh.. The staff were friendly and helpful as it was my first visit. 02.02.24
