Food is great always. However if you advertise you close at a certain time and we come to eat dinner two hours before said closed time, it would be appreciated to not be rushed before we even sit down. Our waitress literally looked at her watch multiple times, and said that they close an hour earlier than what is advertised. It’s not super fun to come have a fun family dinner only to be rushed out of here. Not to mention we were told some food items were unavailable, not because of lack of ingredients, but because they did not want to fire up what is required to make it, since its closing time. It’s already hard to find good service around town and this is a good example of why. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

This is a good place to get a beer and some bar food. The problem is I don't drink and trying to lighten up on deep-fried Delectables. I ordered a chicken fajita salad. The salad was quite good. It came with no dressing, but had guac, sour cream and salsa on a bed of lettuce and a grilled chicken breast. Some over cooked tortilla chips were put on for garnish as well as a couple pepperocinis. My complaint is it shouldn't cost $14.00. Many people like to eat there and I say " enjoy", but it just doesn't suit my taste buds. Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

After a day of traveling our motel recommended we give them a try. About 3:30 pm so plenty of seating options and enjoyed all the decor. My friend had the grilled ham and cheese with fries. It was great, hot and fresh. I had ordered a cup of chili and the BLAST(bacon, lettuce, avacado and tomato) sandwich. I did return the chili as it was so hot it was inedible. Tried adding cheese, sour cream and crackers to tone it down but couldn't do it. Server was very understanding and did take it off our check. Not dissing it just be prepared ...it's hot! The sandwich was a different story. Very appealing , nicely grilled and fresh produce. However, there was one piece of bacon and one tomato slice ...for the entire sandwich! I very politely asked our server about it and she was very dismissive about it and said yes it's always just one piece of bacon. Didn't even address the tomato at that point. My feeling is even if I order a bacon cheeseburger I get 2 pieces of bacon on that sandwich and bacon is the second meat. Kind of think on a upcharged BLT there would be more bacon. I usually always give a business 2 chances, but the servers dismissive attitude makes me feel like maybe not this time. Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Referred to this place by a family member to try one of their beers (red monkey butt). Unfortunately, they were out of that beer so we will have to visit next time we are in Evanston. Steak sandwich was great, and the 2 beers I tried were good. The service was excellent. Would definitely return and recommend for lunch. Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The beer was great. I can't comment on there 2 I PAS, SINCE I don't drink them. The stout, amber, were great. The south of the border was good. They did a wheat sour which was fun. It wouldn't be my regular. I didn't eat the food, but I sat with someone at the bar who loved the food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We went to Suds for dinner after over 20 hours on the road and highly recommended by our hotel. Our server was efficient and friendly. My husband loves his chicken Alfredo. My father's Reuben was ok. My mother's and my grilled cheese was barely grilled, barely warm, and the cheese wasn't melted. The fries, which we asked for crunchy, were limp and cold. I didn't have any energy to complain and ate my sandwich but not the fries. My mom very politely spoke to the manager and told her about her disappointment but that she was starving and was going to eat the food anyway. The manager took 50% off my mom's meal - completely fair. We can not recommend Suds. Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Every time we come through Evanston, we stop for lunch at Suds Brothers, and it Jeter disappoints. The food is delicious, the beer is excellent, and it just has an old school, down h9me feel that makes the whole experience fantastic. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Overall a good place to have lunch on a Friday afternoon. They were out of some beers, but I was able to try a large enough variety for lunch to be satisfied. The food was tasty with no complaints. I’d definitely return and hope to try additional beers. Location is great on main st Evanston for those of us from out of town. Worth a try if you want to try a small town brewery. Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Brew
I love Sud's chicken strips with buffalo chips! The wait has always been a little longer but the food has been cooked well and delicious, well worth the wait. Resin over tables with items like pictures and guitar picks in them. The walls are covered with original art geared towards music and they play some great tunes. Every time I go back to Evanston now, I have to eat there - it's a craving. I have heard their salads are great too. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Stopped in Evanston for the night and stumbled upon this local brewery that had a phenomenal IPA! I was able to enjoy the beer and the beautiful fall weather with my pup outside. Great menu too - a welcome break from fast food! Friendly staff, guests and folks passing by. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
