Off Parque Calderon adjacent to the old cathedral. Clean. Good food but not great. Probably fun after work especially when they have music. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $5–10 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Fantastic café directly on the square, inexpensive, yet ample lunch specials - recommended
Nice and simple place to eat or drink something. Every week they have live music.

Awesome service, environment and food :-) Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $5–10
Great place to stop for coffee and a French pastry, delicious! We also tried their Mexican breakfast and a few of the sandwiches and we loved them. And don't forget to take home a sour dough bread or a baguette!
Bistro type. Good music. Average food. Small place.

Nice place to take a coffee, eat a pastry or having a cocktail during happy hours (5pm-7pm30). There is a live jazz on Tuesday (from 8pm). The staff is nice and the walls are covered with French frames that you could find in a secondhand trade. They offer free Wi-Fi and clean toilets. The location is perfect since it is on the main square. Price are a little bit high regarding Ecuadorian standards but okay regarding the location.
Cool spot to grab coffee or brunch ,Tuesday jazz nights
