This is a great little spot for a date night! The ambiance is incredible, and there's a really great vibe to this place. I will warn you, the menu can be a little confusing, due to the chef's interpretation of some dishes. For example, the "cheesecake" is not a slice of cheesecake, but rather a ramekin with a mousse on top of a light dusting of crumbs, served with peaches. The taste of the dishes is good, but you have to be sure you know what you're ordering.

Amazing meal! Great adaptations of classic dishes with a high end flare!! The calamari was phenomenal, tuna ceviche so flavorful and the pizzas are incredible. The dough is so light, fluffy and delicious it’s hard to not keep eating! Highly recommended

Burrata
First time here and will be back for sure. This is one of, if not the best Italian restaurants in Connecticut. Authentic Neapolitan Pizza is a rare find and this is as good as being in Italy. My only regret is that I have not tried it sooner !

A really cute small Italian restaurant, we went in a Saturday at 8 pm, place was extremely busy, however the service was great, our server knew the menu, explained everything, since the place was small, there was a lot of noise and you couldn't hear the conversation well. There was an oven in the bar, so the place was smoky. Personally, I am sensitive to smoke, so my eyes were watering. Apparently, they don't have a good fan. Drinks had a good presentation but for taste were ok, burrata was good, in my opinion the best was the gnocchi and tiramisu, because we also ordered pizza and was kinda saggy, maybe because they were busy. One more thing, on the drink menu, Corralejo is spelled wrong. Perhaps I need to come back another day when it's not that busy.

Strega is a small upscale Italian restaurant with a modern feel. The menu is simple but sophisticated at the same time. The focaccia bread is flavorful and well seasoned. The meatballs and sauce are traditional Italian excellence. The scallop appetizer was cooked to perfection. I was able to taste the gnocchi and it was a little more dense than usual but still good.
My entree was the stuffed Cannelloni with bolugnese sauce. The pasta tasted fresh and the sauce was seasoned well. All in all a good experience.
Unfortunately we did not try the pizza but it looked and smelled good.
It was a bit warm in the restaurant, if it had been warmer out side we may have been uncomfortable without AC.

We don't normally frequent the same restaurants often to try new things but Strega is a different case... The atmosphere is cozy, and homey like you are eating at a relatives house. The food is incredible, pizza is fantastic. The service is bar none, every server is pleasant.
