Pretty popular joint. We stopped by for lunch. It was weekend and the place was pretty closed. We sat in the outside patio. We ordered half soup and half sandwich combo. We ordered chicken and dumpling soup, which was mediocre. However, the Cajun sandwich was excellent. So as the chicken salad sandwich. All the combos were served with a pickle, chips and a cookie. The sandwich size is small on portion size. This place cater lunchboxes to events. And they are local bread makers. They have a different varieties of breads. The breads are pretty expensive and taste decent. I usually buy these from whole foods.
Was hoping for a nice quiet cafe experience to waste some time between classes. I really just wanted some soup and a hot drink. The line was super long and filled with what seemed like people getting catering, the service was fast and the prices were good. However, I waited about 20 minutes to get my order that was all pre-made food. I got a blueberry muffin, chicken and dumplings and a hot chocolate. The only thing that was good was the hot chocolate. The muffin was very dense and yeasty in the worst way, I could only have like two bites. The dumplings were fine but had no seasoning and were very bland. The people there working seem very friendly though.
I wanted to sit and enjoy the food but it was so loud and hectic there with the phone ringing every minute and lots of people I would rather eat in my car....
TLDR: Great prices, nice people, loud, long wait, and bland food.

We are passing through from out of state. This place is wonderful. Superb customer service and top notch food. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this place. And I think they also cater, so keep them in mind.
Good food, good service. Local business, which is an added bonus. Worth trying. I had the 1/2 Cajun sandwich with a cup of chicken and dumplings (show in the pics) and it was fantastic!
I enjoy their breakfast, especially the biscuits and gravy. Maybe a little different for most folks: the gravy is served in a bowl and the easiest way to eat it is to dip the biscuit in the gravy. That's how I ate biscuits and gravy as a child so I love the nostalgia. Their bread is sort good too.
