Originally San Franciscan; I found Denver restaurants… wanting, until Stone Cellar opened. The food is reliably excellent, innovative, and delicious! The atmosphere is hip but not snobbish- and the staff are all friends and relatives so you somehow feel included when you get to know them. By far Denver’s most excellent bistro - if you like fine but not exorbitant dining check it out- you definitely won’t be disappointed ! My husband and I have been coming here since it opened. Stone Cellar has had amazing food, drinks, and service from the get-go. A lot of cocktail mixes are made by the staff in house and just raise the pedestal for other restaurants. Any duck dish on the menu is perfection. I usually can't do fish due to a sensitive palate, but I can eat it here. I cannot stress enough how wonderful this place is for an amazing dining experience. The food was good, not great. Didn't feel like it was worth the near $50 charge per plate. For that cost, there are much, much better options available elsewhere. It felt more like a $25-30 meal. They also have an extra 5% charge to pay a living wage - to the kitchen staff only. It is shown on the menu, so its not a surprise, but for they charge per plate, they should be able to pay a livable wage without it, and it's not my responsibility to pay their staff. The waitstaff was wonderful and was helpful in selecting a wine to go with dinner. However, they accidentally added additional items to the bill, and we had to ask at least 3 times to have it removed Based on the food vs. price alone, we probably won't go back. Like a 3.6 or 3.7? Definitely not a bad spot but kinda flat on some items. Had foie gras pate instead of seared (which is always definitively better!). Cool idea for kielbasa but not the best flavor with overly thick casing. Main courses didn’t really stand out to our taste. Again, definitely worth going to at least once and I think many would give at least 4 stars but for us Denver has such a high level of competition that it didn’t particularly stand out when compared to alternatives across the city. Might try again and consider upgrade Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

My friend took us here, saying it was great for the couple times they went. And it didn’t disappoint. Starting with the fresh baked rolls to the lamb tartare all the way to entrees. The flavor in the pork was great with plenty of veggies. And the Chimichurri steak was well cooked and seasoned. Shocked by the dessert of the chocolate cake with cherries and foie gras. A stunning experience every time I visit. Rotating weekly menu with a seasonal focus and always something new and delicious to try. 5 star service from front of the house, attentive and knowledgeable with great wine pairing recommendations! Incredible house rolls to start and perfectly balanced desserts that make you ecstatic to finish your meal! Best restaurant in Denver metro hands down and a welcome and scrumptious addition to Olde Town Arvada. Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+

Excellent meal, absolutely delicious dishes across all the courses, professional service, and fantastic wine. Very happy such a gem has opened in Olde Town Arvada. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100
Impeccable service, food, and atmosphere. It’s so nice to have an upscale restaurant with a chef-inspired menu in Old Town. The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made an excellent wine recommendation. The house rolls were excellent, and each of the entrees on the menu were exceptional, and the dessert was divine. I want to explicitly acknowledge the above-and-behind service of the staff to recognize our group’s birthday and anniversary celebration. The occasion was acknowledged by the hostess, waitress, and clearly communicated to the kitchen team as evidenced by our dessert plate. You won’t believe how rarely special occasions are actually recognized by restaurants - Stone Cellar team, keep up the excellent work! We will be back! Amazing! Happened on Stone Cellar plwhile trying to find amazing food on the way to 1st Bank Center from south of Denver. 100% recommend this place - bar seats were available without reservation (though filled up quickly), bartenders fantastic. We had the corn bread(onion butter with bourbon salt!), fois gras (savory and beautiful, had to ask for extra crostini), the best duck either had in ages, and a fresh Colorado salad. We will be back. We tried a diverse selection of shareable apps and entrees off the menu and were pleasantly surprised by everything! Each dish tasted fresh and mindfully curated for Fall. My one complaint is I wish the dinner rolls came in a bigger serving size than 4! They were gone too quick. 🤩 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100
