I’ve been shopping at Stews in Farmingdale since the day it opened and always found the cashiers pleasant until this past Sunday. The cashier was abrupt, not helpful with putting products within reach for me to pack and totally not pleasant to deal with. Would avoid her register in future visits.

Always a great experience shopping here for kids, adults...entire family. High quality bakery, hot foods from the buffet, fresh made pizzas, fresh made sushi, various food options along with necessities, fresh produce, and high quality seafood, meats, cheeses, etc. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Clean, spacious, and interactive store; bigger than the other location on Long Island. Lots of free parking available.

Big, very big store and has a lot of variety of food, drinks and freshly made good. It's a little on the pricey end, though. For a lot of the normal stuff you see in other grocery stores in stew leonards, it costs more, but definitely go there for all the other unique and freshly made goods they have.

I haven’t been here in awhile I am going to have to make the trip more often. I love this store! From the fresh veg to the great array of meats and freshly made dishes I am a happy camper leaving this store. Merry Christmas 🎄

Great place to shop....there is plenty of free parking. There are a variety of different options of food to purchase. I recommend stopping here.

I don't usually shop there but found it to be an interesting place. Lots of nice things but what disappointed me was the few items I was interested in didn't have prices on them and scanners were few and in out of the way places. Prices for many of the items were higher than most places as well. They also have a good cute marketing technique, you have to walk through every area or department to get to the registers to pay for anything you might want to buy. I thought that was a bit controlling.

Stew Leonard’s is a fabulous place. With so much going on plus the best of everything looking right at you , Meats , Seafood, Bakery, Produce.etc Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The Farmingdale store has plenty of parking as well

I love stews but the “less is more” mentality really stops me from going. They do have some good sales but I don’t want to spend my day food shopping and having to go to multiple stores to complete my weekly shopping. I will say the atmosphere is super fun. The displays are fun. When working, the buttons are fun for kids and older kids to play with. They do have good breads and desserts. My favorite bagel is the bacon and cheese bagel. Super good. The only warning I will say is they did not travel well. I had friends who moved out of state and bought the salt pretzels, cider donuts and and bagels Ans after two days they got completely moldy. This happened on 2 separate occasions. Very unusual. The staff is beyond friendly. I have never had a bad interaction with any staff member. They are really helpful when you need questions answered. Ans of course my all time favorite thing there is the pineapple ice cream. If your a Disney coke whip fan, this this you hold over until you can go back to the parks!

What a nice day at Stews! The cook out was amazing! Your staff is so happy! Your food was delicious. Oh yeah and then we shopped for food with an ice cream cone. (Blueberry soft serve)! Your register person took my change that was a few pennies too short so I wouldn't break a big bill. Omg the corn Elote style I am still dreaming about! Omg the thinnest deli sliced tomatoes on the burgers was a very nice detail! It felt like a carnival. Love love love your staff!

I fully regret it having taken 31 years of my life to visit this place. This place is lovely, it’s pretty much everything you think you could want in a grocery store and then some. Everything is beautiful, everything smells good, everything smells fresh everything looks damn near perfect. I got my Christmas tree from here not knowing what was ahead of me, after I left the store the tree was no longer the highlight of my trip. Very much looking forward to doing business here in the future.
