I found out about this place from TikTok and I took my mom for her birthday yesterday we loved the food and the atmosphere everything was a 10/10 definitely recommend and our server was nice as well i believe his name was Shawn

I ordered a catfish platter n just received sides .. no water nor drink I ordered it seem like the girls were more attentive to males . There was a nice female that seated my friend but I sat for more than 15 minutes with sides no meat ... First and last time.. smh and I always support black businesses... As I'm writing this it's been more than 15 minutes and finally received drink I ordered.. whoever one lady was she tried to make right but I was irritated I didn't care to eat.... SAD GUYS NEXT TO US GOT WATER DRINKS N FOOD... The bartender more worried about dancing than serving..

The vibe upon entering was amazing! Dj had it lit! Manager took 3 drink orders only came back with one and never returned for starters! The Service overall was terrible, waited 2 hours to place food and drink orders only for my food to have bug in it. Reserved table at 4 didn’t get food until 6 something. Management had an attitude and was verbally combative when confronted about the experience! Being short staffed is not an uncommon thing but to forget about a whole table even after being stopped several times is just trifling! I will say the young man with the curly hair bartending was very attentive and friendly once he came to the table. Wish I could’ve tried the food I’m big on black owned businesses and showing support I would’ve been a regular and brought more people every visit.

Chicken and Waffles
This place is a vibe! Black owned brunch spot. I found this place thru Google search. There’s free parking too. Service was excellent, our server was Sean who was very personable & friendly. As a matter of fact all the wait staff was friendly. We had “the status” cocktail that packed a punch- really delicious, served w/ edible flower & strawberry. My party had Cheeseteak & chicken cheesesteak rolls, chicken & waffles and shrimp platter w/ steamed vegetables. Taste & presentation 9 out of 10. I wanted the shrimps to be a lil bit bigger, but they were delicious!!! We will definitely be returning to try more of the all day brunch menu.

Cheesesteak Egg Rolls
The food, atmosphere, and staff were fantastic! We were a party of five and dined on Sunday. We were waited on promptly, our food was delicious, plentiful and hot. Can't wait to return. Our visit to Status was the end of a beautiful day. Thank you Staff and Chef.

Mac and Cheese
Definitely the place to do Brunch... There's a live DJ so the music was on a bean. Nice atmosphere, good crowd but its spacious so it wasn't over crowded. The wait for food and drinks was a little long but everything came out hot fresh and delicious, the drinks were good along with the service and the owner was very interactive with everyone. I give absolute 5 stars and I will be returning next Sunday
