Our waitress realized we had never been there before and brought us out a cinnamon roll. Easily the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever eaten in my life. So good. For my meal I had pancakes and the fancy bacon. The fancy bacon was worth the up charge. Very good and thick. Wow, these guys are serving it up, like no joke. When I came every table was full, I got seated in 2 minutes and my food came out in 5. A lot of big city restaurants could take a lesson from these guys. When you come in if the host isn't there you sign yourself in, then they use team work to get you seated and served ASAP. Very impressive operation. Don't be discouraged if it looks busy, they were thriving while busy when I was there. Here from North Carolina on a bike trip and wanted a big breakfast to start the day. We found the perfect spot. Cathy was our waitress and cashier and was fantastic. The place was very clean and all of the staff was friendly. I got the banana caramel crepes and they were amazing, and the hashbrowns were cooked to perfection. First time here, and we'll be back a bunch before we leave Montrose because the food was awesome. Hash browns outstanding and eggs cooked perfectly. You could choose from some sides, we choose the cinnamon roll, WOW, it was just out of oven the server said and it melted in my mouth. My husband and I had a delicious breakfast when we ate here. He had the Belgian waffle with eggs and bacon. I had the Denver omelette and pancakes. Everything was piping hot and the portions were large. When we're on vacation, we like to eat a hearty breakfast then we don't have to eat another meal until dinner time. The service was prompt and friendly even though it appeared there was only one server the morning we stopped. She even brought me a large glass of ice so I could refill my large water bottle before we headed out for the day's adventures.
