First, sorry for my english, we went to this Starbucks with my husband, I ordered only an iced matcha with water, nothing else, because I know matcha is only green tea leaf powder, and it doesn’t have sugar, at first, I felt a soft sugary taste, and then I start to feel weird, a little bit dizzy, and I asked to the worker about the ingredients on the powder, she told me that Starbucks matcha powder does have sugar in it, and I was very shocked because they do not advertised that, I was in a 17 hours fasting and the first thing I’ve tried was this sugary drink, I’m a hypoglucemic, and is not funny, you know? Right now I’m having a huge peack of glucose and insulin in my bloodstream. If Starbucks wants to adulterate noble ingredients like matcha thats fine but they have to advertise it in their coffee shops, I definitely not going to return. (Emma, second manager, was very nice and the stuff, obviously it’s Starbucks fault).
