Hey, I really want to share my work experience with others who would like to get a job here. I worked here about a year ago, but I feel like there are issues that need to be fixed within the workplace. I’d like to start off by saying that I’ve had sweet coworkers I miss, I hope that they’re still doing good and have a happy atmosphere despite the negativity. I would like to suggest that the current manager make sure that their supervisors aren’t verbally degrading their coworkers. Especially behind their backs. I’ve overheard Paloma and Kylie saying mean things about other people who have worked with them. More than once, and it went on for months. Normally I wouldn’t call out people by their names, but these two made my work experience miserable. I was cornered by the two of them during one of my shifts. They both were taking turns telling me that I shouldn’t dress up how I was, despite me telling them that it made me feel good to look good. Keep in mind that I was within dress code, I just prettied myself up. I was alone, and I kept trying to defend myself. I genuinely felt like I was being harassed for how I looked. Paloma publicly embarrassed me in front of our coworkers. She said something along the lines of “maybe you should look at the cards (recipe book) instead of yourself in the mirror”. This was because I would touch up my makeup on my free time, nowhere did I ever do this during busy hours or when I had work to do. It took no more than a minute to do so, but she insisted on making me feel bad about myself. She even got a coworker to laugh at her remark. I’ve never been a confrontational person, so I just said “maybe”. Kylie made it very obvious she did not like me. Personally, I didn’t care to gain her likability, but how she used her authority in the workplace was highly unprofessional. It could be small things like ordering me to do multiple tasks at once before I even finished the first thing, while simultaneously giving our other coworkers little to no tasks. Again, I wouldn’t take job responsibilities personally as it’s what I signed up for, however it was very clear she was targeting me and using her authority to disguise her bullying tactics. When I finally built up the courage to talk to the manager at the time, Meagan, about how I was being treated, she essentially told me to work on how to react better. I do agree that we should all learn to have thicker skin, but I felt like in that moment I was being blamed for reacting with sadness. I expressed that I’ve been bullied before, and that’s how I’m able to identify that I was being bullied in the workplace. I was about to start an investigation with Meagan until I had a mental breakdown and quit. I couldn’t handle the way I was being treated at work. There was a lot more subtle to obvious treatment they gave me, but I only named a few. The reason why I even mentioned this is to bring attention to the unprofessionalism and negativity within the workplace. I now realize they were unhappy with themselves, to the point of trying to make others, myself included, feel as miserable as they were. I hope no one experiences anymore mistreatment within this workplace, as I wasn’t the only one who felt this way. Management, please make sure your workplace breeds kindness. No one deserves to feel harassed or less than, let alone for how they look. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

It's a Starbucks. That being said this place is regularly slow on mobile orders. Don't depend on them to be ready on time if you are on a time crunch. On more than a few occasions I've shown up just after the estimated ready time and have had to wait an extra ten to twenty minutes.
