I gave it to three out of five but don't get me wrong if you hit it when they're busy they're definitely a five-star Chinese restaurant. When you go during down time that's the sad part but I mean that's to be expected with almost any buffet. The food has been there a while but they do everything they can to keep it fresh they have lids over everything that keeps the food hot as long as the customer covers it back up after they take the portion they want.

There are two better Chinese restaurants in Lincoln (namely the other two). I ate at Star Buffet twice, once at the buffet, and once when they added sushi. When I went, it was still early in their opening and the food was mediocre at best. I should try again, I thought. When I received a flyer in the mail advertising sushi, I decided to give them another try. The fish was thawed from frozen like you would expect from Hy Vee. Bottom line: name people, not so nice food.

The sushi is delicious and the ingredients are fresh. They also have the best General Tso's chicken. All in all, this restaurant is really great and I highly recommend everyone to give it a try!
