The restaurant was very busy for Saturday brunch. I enjoyed the American Breakfast with eggs, potatoes, sausage and gluten free toast. Also the avocado toast was very good. Interesting decor and atmosphere. It’s connected to the Kimpton Hotel Palomar. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Yum! My friends and I had the opportunity to visit this place for lunch during restaurant week. Our server was excellent. Our meal was good as well, not one complaint from the group. The restaurant week dessert, we had mixed feeling about, but the overall vibe of the place was awesome! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Walking aimlessly around Philly is amazing. The people watching is superb. Worked up an appetite laughing so I dipped into this spot! Omg it’s restaurant week! Score! Open kitchen with all the smells. It was a solid find. Salad greens with shrimp was fresh and amazing! Loved the eggplant parmesan too! Diamond took great care of me! The combination of quality cuisine, inviting atmosphere, and perhaps a touch of serendipity made stumbling upon it a great dining experience. Breakfast was great and a generous portion for the price. The problem is the service. The first time it was good but the second time we went they didn't want to give us a table without reservation when they had 2/3 of the restaurant empty. All the tables for 2 people were available but they still denied us the service because they "had too many reservations". There were not more customers in line waiting in the room and they had more staff on site that day. So it doesn't really makes sense when they let us seat 2 days before that without saying we needed reservations. But is like who does reservations for breakfast? That's insane! I would never go back to this place and would not recommend this place. There are better breakfast restaurants in the area like Green Egg Cafe; they do know how to do bussiness and treat customers well plus the food is way better. The restaurant we originally wanted to try had an hour wait, so we walked a bit further and found this gem. It was quiet and was sat immediately. Food was great. The truffle mac and cheese was delicious. Truffle fries were ok, a bit too salty for me. Brussel sprouts were also delicious, tho there are bacon bits in it so beware if you are vegetarian. Price is a bit pricey but not unreasonable for a downtown restaurant. Portion of the sides were great, we had enough for leftovers Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ein super leckeres Frühstück! Kaum künstliche Süße, sehr große Portionen und dafür ein klasse Preis. Kann ich für Frühstück absolut empfehlen, da es wirklich sehr sehr lecker war und lange satt gemacht hat! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Surf and Turf Tuesday sounds spectacular and the staff is quite enthusiastic to promote the dish. The lobster tail was good; not overcooked but fleshy. A medium steak was delivered very rare but immediate attention came without provocation. I finished the lobster before my steak returned. The Chef re-plated my New York Strip; however, more seasoning was altogether salty with my steak favoring an initial flavor of the grill but was served at the correct temperature. The mashed potato substitution [for fries] was delivered perfectly and delicious. I will need to visit again to void my palette of this experience. In the meantime, I think I shall order the Creme Caramel. #LetsGuide Square 1682 Philadelphia Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100

I had a really delicious meal here with a small group. The servers were able to accommodate our group on short notice. The restaurant has a really neat atmosphere. We all really enjoyed our food. The menu is small, but it has options for most people. Side note: you have to go on a bit of an adventure to get to the bathrooms; they are up 1 floor. Square 1682 has the perfect atmosphere for a Friday night outing. Shoutout to waiter-in-training, Kaleif and his trainer Angela. They were very attentive and informative about menu items. Given their insights on menu favorites, it made making our decision easier. Our appetizers was the honey cornbread which was delicious. The Square 1682 burger was well prepared with truffle parm fries . The highlight was the garlic aioli, bacon jam and Brie. The pan seared salmon was cooked medium and lightly seasoned which complimented the peas and fingerling potatoes.
