Drinks were ok, nicely presented but not the strongest. Most frustrating however was their happy hour deal.
After being told by 2 staff members that they had an offer of 50% off, when the bill came it turned out to be 15% off.
I understand that 50 & 15 can sound a little similar depending on who is pronouncing it, but nowhere in the world have I ever heard of a happy hour which offers 15% off.
It was an unfortunate trap that we as westerners fell into & being the only people in the bar at this time we felt awkward enough to pay it.
There is an endless supply of other bars in the area which offer higher quality cocktails at an honest price as well as a better overall atmosphere.
Formerly Dachai. I was lucky to come here Friday night when they had live acoustic music with a half Vietnamese, half English set list (regularly scheduled Fridays 8-10pm, I was told). Had some bar food and friends had drinks that they all enjoyed, especially the gin cocktails!
I came to this bar with a couple of friends for a BBQ event and had the blast! It is definitely a cool pub to for hangout and casual dates. The owner and staff are super friendly. There are various beers and ciders from the local breweries and the food are delicious. Would definitely come back and recommend!
