We absolutely LOVE this place! The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. Our server Alastair was friendly, courteous and attentive. He also makes an amazing cup of coffee. And the food... oh the food! Today I had the Nasi Lemak and the wife ordered the Goulash. Their NL is the best I've had in a long time. Every element was done to perfection - the kacang and ikan bilis were light and crunchy, the rice was flavourful and fluffy, the sambal hit the right balance of spiciness, umami, and sweet, and the chicken rendang was juicy covered in a deliciously thick coat of rendang gravy. We were also given free samples of their curry chicken and beef stew. Both were very good. Other dishes we've tried and loved before include their lasagna (beef or chicken available), pastas, sandwiches and for those who like cakes, do try their Sans Rival. It is truly without a rival, nothing comes close to the crunchy wafers layered with rich, creamy buttermilk. Heaven. 21 Aug 23 - I ordered for takeaway, the ayam goreng kunyit (they were kind enough to add some beef stew for me to try), a slice of bread pudding with custard, and a trifle jelly with a sauce. The nasi goreng kunyit was a lovely golden brown. Lotsa of onions and some veg and quite tasty. A little more spice would have been great. I thought the beef stew was pretty good too. Lotsa veg and some soft potatoes too. Definitely worth your while. The bread pudding was a large slice (and very cheap for the price), and it could do with a little more fruit. The sauce was custard, and it should have been a tad finer. I liked the trifel. Not too sweet. The Sylvanas I tried was possibly the best I have ever tasted. 15 Aug 23 - Nice, small little cafe in usj11/3. Recently opened, serving a small selection of buns and doughnuts. I tried the nasi lemak daging rendang and the beef lasagne (over 2 days), which I thought was pretty decent (although I would have preferred a little more beef in the lasagne). The nasi lemak was good. Fresh tasting nut and ikan bilis, which, to me at least, is crucial to the dish. The sambal could have been a tad more firey, but I think they need to cater to the masses. Looking forward to trying the lontong soon. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A very decent neighbourhood cafe, a similar European touch if you have been to European or Scandinavian cafe. Serve decent coffee such as black and latte. An English tea for those non coffee. Nasi lemak ayam rendang or ayam kunyit, laksa, mushroom soup, lagsana among others. Pastries such as donut, bread. As for the donut, I do really hope for the actual bavarian donut 😊. Seats are limited, but then is to serve for the neighbourhood. Located at the same row as with Kampar Old Town, Crusty Nest, Pizza vs Satay. Open from 10am (or 10.30am?) to 5pm. Parking aplenty after 11am. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
A lovely spot for a quick meal. Be it a dine in or a takeaway, there is something for everyone. I have tried the Nasi Lemak, lasagna(both beef and chicken), the beef saba, beef stew, sandwiches and cakes. The portions are generous and hearty and the prices won't blow a hole in your pocket. Contrary to how a customer found this gem unfriendly, my visits have always been greeted with smiles and courtesy. Sparrowhaus is a great option for those days you just don't want to cook. What a cosy place. Nice. First visit today for Brunch. Very warm atmosphere. Great hospitable team here. Enjoyed 2 cups of hot latte. Nice pies. Had nasi tomato with ayam masak merah. Ayam masak merah was delicious. Like home cooked. All the rasa was there. Lovely. Have to come back for tea for the cakes and especially the Berliner Krapfen. Remembering my days in Germany 🇩🇪. Cheers. Price per person RM 1–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
The food was so good, it felt like I was having a home-cooked meal. I've tried their lasagna, laksa, beef pie, trio sandwich, and shepherd's pie, and all of them are my favorites! The prices are affordable too. I highly recommend it. Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
