How this place ever got more than one star, I will never understand. I am pretty sure that I am leaving with food poisoning from what was supposed to be ranch dressing, but had a “zing” to it like a cross between pickle and lime juice…? Professional chef said whaaaaat? The servers and staff are very nice, ….the food…not so much. Ugh. Terrible. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

We were traveling through town and stopped for a drink and a bite to eat- we walked in and the employee behind the counter was downright rude! The waiter( very nice young man ) apologized for her rudeness but the place was worn and dirty so we left. Atmosphere: 1

EDIT: Since the new owners took over, the place has taken a steady nosedive. Menu keeps getting smaller, prices going up (Chef Salad went up from $8 to $13.99). Service is deteriorating. Food is decent but the selection is slim. Excellent down home cooking! Great meat and three, good salad bar. Service is top notch with just enough attentiveness to have a good experience. We went for the first time since the new place opened. The food was not seasoned at all. The meatloaf tasted like ketchup I couldn’t even tell it was ground beef none of vegetables had seasoning my husband and I frequent the last restaurant all the food was great. Are y’all using the same cooks? Needless to say I want be going back. I feel I wasted my money and time. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The restaurant has recently changed names. It is now called Southern Kitchen Very unorganized. Food was ok. I know when opening a new place, you have to work out all the kinks.
