Drove into Windsor from Severance as I had some errands to run and decided to stop at sonic to grab a quick bite for lunch. Not only did I have to wait into the drive-through for over five minutes for them to take my order, even though there was only one other car in front of me. I also had to repeat my order in the drive-through as the person taking my order spoke a little to none english. Then I sat at the actual drive-through window for an additional 10 to 15 minutes waiting on my food. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich. The lady working the drive-through window told me we are cooking your chicken, it will be just a minute, no problem I waited patiently for my food. Only to drive all the way back home take a bite of my sandwich and my chicken being completely raw!!!! I immediately spit it out and vomited due to the chicken juice going down my throat that’s how raw was. I called the store immediately and was only told come back in and we will remake it, when I told them I didn’t want to eat it from there I would just like a refund, they said, OK come to the store and then hung up! No apology no sincerity nothing about trying to make it right. I then contacted corporate and all they said was I would get a call back! That was at noon and I have yet to receive a call back, reached out a second time same thing I will just receive a call back. Horrible business horrible staff, horrible store. Do not eat at this location. UPDATE….. it’s been over 4 weeks and after being told numerous times the manager will reach out to me about my matter I NEVER received a call back nor was my money ever refunded.. I have reached out to the 1800 number as well and nothing can be done to resolve the issue apparently. Sad not even a phone call or my money back. I decided to stop at sonic to grab a drink while out running errands and spent almost an hour waiting! It was 3pm on a Saturday. At first I went to the stall because I wanted to get a pretzel twist too. There were 3 other cars at the stalls. Pushed the button, waited 15 minutes… they never took my order. I saw there were only 2 other cars in the drive through and decided to do that. It was no faster. Spent 20 minutes before they even took my order. Then, waited 20 minutes after ordering to actually get my drink and pretzel. Never coming to the sonic again! Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

There is no nice way to put this! Do NOT go here unless you want food poisoning for a midnight snack! They will not be coming to your car at 6:30 at night even though there was a sign that says open After 5pm. Your only option is to go through the drive through. And that was a headache in itself. Want a corn dog? For get it. They will be out. We asked for a Simple cheese burger kids meal and got 2 freezing cold burger with old mayo and whatever else they had on it from the day before. The milk shake we got had peanut butter in it and we asked for a M&M only. We threw away all our food including the shakes. They had creepy clown posters everywhere. Sonic is a family friendly environment not a Halloween House! I could keep going! It was the worse fast food experience of my life! I would have had better food and service at the local dump! Just got breakfast at sonic and Windsor period wait a 10 minutes for a burrito in a bowl and tots both came out cold.The eggs are old and I'm super disappointed. Shop somewhere else period Food: 1
While the food was quite good, the service was horrible. Waited over 30 minutes in the stall before going through the drive thru. I would be understanding of the long wait if there were a lot of customers, but there were only 2 cars there. We eat there once a month but have got to stop. I order a double hamburger no cheese. I always get double cheese. This time I got cheese and NO double patty. Husband orders one patty with cheese. He got my double patty. We both got stale buns. Onion rings were half cooked. We’ve lived here for over 5 years and there is never a time they’ve gotten our order correct. Would give negative stars if I could. Do yourself a favor and travel to another sonic. The manager was very rude and wouldn't honor a promo that was sent via text directly from sonic. Corporate did apologize to me and remedy the problem but there would not have been a problem had the manager known how to do her job. I've had good experiences at all the other sonics I have been to. Just wouldn't definitely not recommend the one in windsor. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Update: stopped again. Two girls working. They will not answer the drive in stalls. We learned after seeing people going through the drive in window. The owner should sell the business to someone who knows how to run a business. What a waste! Loosing so much business because he won’t hire employees. Horrible!!!! Pulled into sonic. There was one of the car. Push the button didn’t work with another stall. It didn’t work. What did the third stall it finally worked. We waited over 10 minutes. I even rev my engine. The lady looked at me still didn’t answer me. We waited a total of 15 minutes, but I decided to leave along. She had one customer. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Food is fine, but there's always something going on every time I go to eat, it might just be bad luck on my part, but the mobile orders are usually not working, the carhop closes earlier than the store at an unspecified time, or I get half my order. Normally, the carhop closing is not a issue, but when you put in a mobile order and go to pick it up by using the carhop, you won't be notified that they're not doing that for the night, so by the time you figure that out and pick it up at the drive through, your food will have been sitting there for at least 20 minutes. So now I just never use the carhop service when using mobile orders to be on the safe side. I've just never had any of these issues at other sonic locations before, and again, it might just be bad luck on my end, but for it to happen this many times when I go, I don't believe that it is. I’m giving 2 stars because the food is good. However, I’m not sure if y'all are short on staff or what have you but for the past 6 months it takes FOREVER to get through this drive thru. I waited for 15 minutes after i had ordered in the drive thru and there was 2 cars ahead of me. The car in front of me left because they were there when i hadn’t even pulled into the location yet. Then the truck ahead of them left because they had been sitting there for over 15 minutes (i know this because it took me 15 minutes to get up to the front). Not sure what’s happening and pardon my concern for 15 minutes, but Wendy’s takes maybe 5 minutes at most. I ordered just 2 food items. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
